It was baseball justice. It stemmed from a tense Padres-Dodgers rivalry game where Fernando Tatis Jr. was hit earlier in the inning, sparking benches-clearing and ejections of both managers after warnings were issued. Tatis actually had to exit the game with a hand injury.
