I didnt grow up in a family of wrestlers. My family did not understand wrestling and called it trash. I myself was called trash when I became a wrestler. So if I was going to make this happen, I have to do this alone. With that being said Wrestling schools are expensive. So I took whatever job I could find which happened to be night shift positions at Wal-mart. I was in LA so I could go to KNOKX PRO ENT. under life There I slept out of my vehicle in the day time without air conditioning! everyday for a full year. Just so I could train, just so I could become a wrestler!! Training was so important to me. I didn’t want to be a Mountain Dew drinking Mark in tights? I wanted to be a professional athlete a professional actor, entertainer, a professional wrestler! But this is God’s plan not mine. During one of my matches I end up suffering an accident that put me in a wheelchair. I had to leave California and all my dreams were put on a shelf just so I could heal. I mean, wrestlers get hurt it happens. It’s all about how you get back up and what you do with yourself. Right? Well seven years passed 15 different doctors were seen, four surgeries were performed and not a single soul knew how to save my life. I was frustrated. I was losing my 20s. My whole entire life was slipping away and I was just existing in a wheelchair in agonizing pain. I had no relief. No hope! The pain had spread from my original injury to full body!! doctors didn’t know what to do. They didn’t understand my pain nor could they explain to me what was happening! I was terrified. If a doctor can’t save me, then who could?! It was a dark time, The only thing that kept me alive during my wheelchair days was the idea of fulfilling my wrestling career. I know it sounds cliché but wrestling as much as it killed me wrestling has saved me. With the medical community abandoning me I brought it upon myself to go to a planet fitness every single day and relearn how to walk again! That’s right! I didn’t have nurses holding my arms up as I taught myself how to walk again! I didn’t have a rehab facility. I didn’t have pain pills. I was raw dogging this as I was forced to do my rehab in a public f’n gym?! Well after a year of hard work, I was in a planet fitness every single day for 10 hours, forcing my body to walk, willing it to stand for long periods of time and I did it!! I fought through this mysterious pain, relearn how to stand and walk, & I also lost over 100lbs! After these accomplishments I went to one last doctor to tell them my story. My final doctor after all of this hard work. She reviewed everything & gave me the bad news. My body was not battling a little wrestling injury. It actually activated a rare disease! It’s not just any diseases, but it’s the most painful pain known to mankind! My dr with tears in her eyes asked me how I survived this long?! & that I was so brave! She was shock I haven’t touched any pain pills nor any other treatments. It was just me, and my will to survive! She then told me that I’m a medical one in 1 million! “You’re very much lucky to still be here with us kid! This sickness is nicknamed the suicide disease! Also I’m so sorry, but there is no cure!” I have filmed my journey from the beginning. Being homeless, helping bleach out the mats, scrubbing toilets, going days without food. I did it all to become a professional wrestler. Just to be rob of my career! and then to be giving this horrible sickness for the rest of my life? Chapter 1 Pre-Alpha "Explore. Craft. Survive." will be dropping this quarter welcoming the very first inhabitants to #E2V1 & introduce early mechanics that will form the foundation of life inside #Earth2🌍✌️ Read below for important details: This update is no longer a simple avatar release but a significant update to the entire foundation of the #E2V1 world. When I first talked about dropping avatars I was eager to keep things moving and referred to a very simple system to test skins and movement, then to subsequently implement the full version after that. While this approach would have brought new content out quickly, it could have turned into weeks of extra development time with little upside for the wider community, apart from testing the movement and appearance of the avatars, there would have been little else to do until another subsequent update. Therefore I made the decision to focus solely on implementing the core part of the full system we plan to use long term on the platform. I apologise that this release will take a little longer than originally anticipated, having moved away from the initial lower spec'd plan, but I'd like to get this right & ready for a wider audience to start using and enjoying. As much as I'd love to push out updates faster, I will be taking this approach to #E2V1 development in the future as well. The plan will still be to release to our testing group first after our internal QA, test and then stabilise. If all looks good and we're happy with how everything is performing, we will push forward with a public release. There will inevitably be ongoing adjustments, additions and tweaks to these type of systems over time. It may seem like a long time, but #E2V1 was only released to our testing group 7 weeks ago! How crazy is that? I know for me it feels like many months already. Nonetheless, during this short period of time we have not only released a couple of updated versions, and an updated version to the Earth 2 Launcher, but the team has also been working incredibly hard on the #E2V1 and #BE mechanics for the Chapter 1 systems - and there is a lot involved in this upcoming release. We will be dropping an article later this week, which I believe will help our community understand the extensive list of features planned for this release and in turn explain why it is taking a little longer. I'd rather not spoil all of the details, but the article contains a lot of information about the various systems we're developing including rules of life, avatar synthesisation, death, saving, skins, day/night cycles, free to play model, avatar vitals, how land ownership fits in with all of this and much more. It is important to keep in mind that each of these systems needed to be designed and implemented, which takes time. The article will also begin to reveal some of the design plans I have been working on to increase utility for T1 land, which will also include various T1 classes. I also intend to follow through and expand utility on T1 land into other upcoming mechanics on the platform, some of which will be revealed in a separate article in the near future and are also part of the Chapter 1 release. Ideally, all going well, we will be testing early multiplayer at some stage this quarter and as mentioned earlier this year #Hordes in Q3, #EggHunt in Q4 & maybe some early buildings on properties. In addition to these goals, we have a couple of wild card features floating around in between as well. I know I reiterate it from time to time, but the long term goal for #Earth2 has not changed. We are building a #geolocational #metaverse - a platform! We still want #Players building cities, providing more individualised experiences, advertising, trading, shopping, e-commerce, socialising and so forth. I am also looking at ways we can expand the team and setup a studio, probably in East Asia, to speed up development. After regrouping with our investors and the team, I’ve made the difficult decision to wind down Hike completely. Our US business, launched just nine months ago, is off to a strong start. But scaling globally would require a full recap, a reset that is not the best use of capital or time. The Big Question → We could raise the capital, but the real question is: is it worth it? Is this a climb worth pivoting for? For the first time in 13 years, my answer is no. Not for me, not for my team, and not for our investors. Why? 1. RMG was never the destination. It was a way to test unit economics and traction in India while working toward a bigger vision. In hindsight, starting in India locked us into the model and regulatory headwinds, turning a temporary path into a more permanent one. 2. The Gaming Nation vision is real, but we may be too early. The world will eventually move toward a Nation-type model in gaming and Web3 - Company 2.0. But crypto regulation is still developing globally, and we don’t want to repeat India, where we hoped for clarity that never came. 3. And most importantly, if doing a full reset, is this where I’d put my own capital and energy today? For the first time, the answer is no. The world has changed in the last decade - and so have I. There are more important problems to solve and bigger opportunities to deploy brilliant talent and capital. Looking Back & Lessons The last 13 years have been immense. Hike Messenger reached 40M MAUs and became the 35th most loved consumer brand in India at its peak. With Rush, we built a brand new kind of Casual PvP gaming platform and scaled it to 10M users and $500M+ in gross revenue in just 4 years. Our execution was super, but we could never quite make it stick. There are clear lessons to carry forward, especially on market selection: 1. Be careful with winner-take-all markets. To win, you need to go global. 2. Don’t build for today’s tech constraints. Build on the spring/summer of new technologies. 3. Regulatory clarity matters. Risk is fine; uncertainty is not. More importantly momentum is everything. And build what your heart and mind are deeply excited about. It’s the conviction that carries you through. This is both a disappointment and a hard outcome. But I choose to look on the bright side: the learnings are invaluable, and my conviction for what’s next is even stronger. To everyone who has been part of this journey - our users, our team, our investors, and our community - thank you. As a CEO, you’re only as strong as your team, and I want to give a special shout-out to mine - an incredible group of people who gave this everything. Hike This chapter ends, but the climb continues. From there will come technologies that today feel impossible to imagine. 3. Mastery of the Self → As AI takes on more of our work, a deeper question will rise: what now defines us? When productivity is no longer the measure of worth, humanity will turn inward. Man’s evolution will move from the intellect to intuitive attunement - a deeper connection with ourselves and the divine (which we’ll realise are one and the same). The tools, spaces, and guides that help us explore this inner world will be as transformative as any innovation in the outer one - unlocking the next level of humanity’s potential. The world’s demand for energy is rising faster than ever. Breakthrough approaches, especially in physics are needed to power the future. The last century gave us mastery of fine matters and electricity, the next will move deeper, at the intersection of science and spirituality - into what yogis call divine magnetism and physicists call the quantum world or electromagnetism. From there will come technologies that today feel impossible to imagine. 3. Mastery of the Self → As AI takes on more of our work, a deeper question will rise: what now defines us? When productivity is no longer the measure of worth, humanity will turn inward. Man’s evolution will move from the intellect to intuitive attunement - a deeper connection with ourselves and the divine (which we’ll realise are one and the same). The tools, spaces, and guides that help us explore this inner world will be as transformative as any innovation in the outer one - unlocking the next level of humanity’s potential. If you put these together, a picture emerges: → the cost of intelligence trending to zero → the cost of energy trending to zero → and the cost of willpower falling lower and lower. Just imagine a future where willpower is infinite, energy is abundant, and intelligence is at our fingertips. Warren Buffett: "If we can't make a decision in five minutes, we can't make it in five months." In a Q&A, a shareholder from Munich, Germany asks Buffett a specific question: how large is the universe of companies whose intrinsic value he carries in his head — the ones he could act on within a day or two if the market offered an attractive price? Buffett doesn't give a number. He reframes the question entirely. Speed, he explains, doesn't come from knowing more. It comes from refusing to think about most things at all. "Our immediate decision is whether we can figure out what's being offered to us or not. I mean, there's a go no-go signal." That signal fires almost immediately: "Charlie and I are often thought to be rude when we think we're just being polite and not wasting the other person's time. So, as they start mid-sentence in their first conversation with us, we just say, 'Forget it.'" He continues: "We know very, very, very early in the conversation whether somebody's talking about something that there's any chance is actionable by us, and we don't worry about the ones we miss." The filter isn't about the quality of the opportunity. It's about whether Buffett is equipped to judge it: "We want to make sure that we don't waste any time thinking about things that, when we got all through thinking about them, we're not going to know enough to make the decision on. So we just rule those out, and that rules a lot of things out." What survives that filter gets decided on immediately: "So we make decisions—we can make a decision in five minutes very easily. I mean, it just is not that complicated." Then comes the line that explains the whole system: "If we can't make a decision in five minutes, we can't make it in five months. You know, there's—we're not going to learn enough in the following five months to make up for the fact that we went in deficient in the first place." Deliberation doesn't fix a knowledge deficit. If you weren't already competent to judge the thing, five months of study won't close the gap — it will only manufacture the confidence to act badly. So when the input arrives — a phone call about a business for sale, or a price in a newspaper, a magazine, an annual report, a 10-K — the only thing Buffett is looking for is a "significant differential between price and value." If it's there, "we move right then." "And Charlie and I don't need to talk to each other about it; I mean, we both think the same way and we have generally similar spheres of knowledge." Charlie Munger then names the mechanism directly: "The answer to your question is we can make a lot of decisions about a lot of things very fast and very easily, and we're unusual in that respect. And the reason we're able to do that is there's such an enormous other lot of things that we won't allow ourselves to think about at all. It's just that simple." He gives his own example: "I have a little phrase when people make pitches to me, and about halfway through the first sentence I say, 'We don't do startups; they don't exist.' Well, if you blot out startups, there's a whole layer of complexity that goes out of your life." So I'm just going to take my red buff, and then we're going to look to do the dragon. And the reason this is so important is because we're both spiking. We just came from base. And the enemy has a very strong dragon fight. They have Lissandra, Rengar, and Ash Seraphine, which means Ash Seraphine should almost always have prio. So, if we don't take Dragon with this one timer, Ash Seraphine will always have prio, and then they have a strong 2v2 with the Slander Vengar. So, we have this one time to take it. If I was just to go full clear, my bot would never have prio ever again. This is our one window, and we're able to take the Dragon where my bot lane has prio. So instead of full clearing, I just go straight to the Dragon. And if there is a fight, I'm strong here because I'm on Item Spike, and so is my bot lane. So it's actually a decent fight. And then I can fast forward. So then Rengar ends up ganking my bot lane. I kill him. And then I'm recalling again because I have a decent buy here of 1500 gold. And it's going to be the same thing essentially here. I'm not just going to full clear. There's no reason to just full clear, right? I'm very strong. I have full item. I just bought 1500 gold worth of items. And top's kind of overextending here. So I'm just going to sprint straight top. And we don't end up killing, but we do get his ult and his flash. That's pretty worth. Could have honestly killed him if I Thresh missed his hook. It's a bit unlucky. But the point is. The point is to just not folklore. and I still get my camps guaranteed, and the most Rengar could take is just my raptors. I know he can't take my top side because I'm top side right. So the most I can lose is my raptors. And it's always worth it to just go for the kill top. If I lose my raptors now, it's earlier in the game, and it's a lot harder to break your full clear because you do get punished more. Because one, it's harder to kill people because have less items, less damage, less cooldown stuff like that. It's harder to farm it takes longer. So more camps, you're more your camps are sitting the longer it's going to take for you to clear them. And then, if you do lose camps early game, it snowballs way harder. So I'd say once you get your upgraded Smite, like your Rainbow Smite, like your first upgraded Smite, that's when it's a little bit easier to skip camps. You basically don't really want to break your full clear aside from that. But once you get your first item, for sure, you want to be skipping camps to look for proactive plays. And yes, I understand that IRIAM’s current review guidelines can flag things like visible underwear details and certain levels of chest exposure, and that profile icons get reviewed even more conservatively. My honest take is I don’t personally agree with how strict that is, especially when the model I’m using is one IRIAM provided me through their system, but I’m not here to wage war with platform rules. I’m here to create so I’m adapting. I’m changing how I crop images. I’m changing what I use for icons. And I’m already working on my 2.0 so it’s clearly safe under the current standards, even if that means my 2.0 ends up less showy than I originally wanted. That part is frustrating. But please stop trying to take away someone’s platform because you personally don’t approve of their body type or character design. If you genuinely believe something violates guidelines, report it once and let moderation do their job. Don’t turn it into a campaign. That’s not accountability. Anthony Albanese has just appointed the wrong person to head up the Fuel Taskforce. Albanese is a lifelong waste of taxpayers’ money. But much worse than that, he has been out of his depth for his entire career. He now presents an imminent danger to our nation’s prosperity, national security and strategic preparedness. Many people will suffer for his efforts as push-comes-to-shove in our latest fuel crisis. As they say in the playground “it takes one to know one”, and not to be outdone, Albanese has gone and put a lifelong climate zealot and total waste of taxpayer money, Anthea Harris, in charge of his government’s response to the fuel crisis. The clip below, is Anthea giving an address to the ANU in her capacity as the head of the Climate Change Authority back in 2015. She either believes that all of these non-solutions to the non-climate problem are really necessary - which would make her rather daft - or she knows it is all a complete scam, and she is just a scammer… A professional scammer, living on the taxpayer, and living well at that. More, the net result of her work so far has been to help destroy our energy grid and just about everything else relating to our ability to make and do things in Australia. Because cheap and reliable energy is central to everything. Everything. Whether it is coal, gas or liquid fuels, Australia needs these things to provide a first world living standard for the people. She has been an instrumental part of the war on our living standards thus far. All the while they threw our prosperity in the air, put on a blindfold and hoped to catch it in a windmill shaped glove. Now she is in charge of Albanese’s response to our critical, non-critical supply of petrochemicals that are at crisis levels, but we are not in a crisis. If you believe any of what they say… She is not an expert in logistics, or oil supply, petrochemicals or any other area that might qualify her to ensure we have enough fuel to drive critical infrastructure. Not to mention little things like food reaching the supermarket shelves. She is not the right person for the job. She probably thinks we could use this crisis as an opportunity to further destroy lives and livelihoods as they relentlessly pursue the hopeless goal of changing global temperatures. I am sure she will see it that way. She probably thinks we can all work from home and stop eating meat for the good of the planet. I have no doubt Albanese thinks she will do a great job of whatever it is he thinks he is achieving at our expense. I have no doubt we will be worse off for her best efforts. We have good cause to be very cynical of the current leadership. They won’t even admit there are problems - not in any of the areas where there are many problems - so they won’t be able to properly solve them. We have every right to be worried, and we have little cause to respect them or their leadership at this critical time in our nation’s history. I am afraid that if we don’t vote all of these absolute lightweights out of office at the next election, there won’t be a Nation left. I have no doubt there are problems in the opposition and other camps, but they could not be worse than the problems we have in government. I just want Australia back.

My fox shooting garden defending AI robot is finally done and WORKING! 🤩 (Don’t worry it only shoots 💦 water) After months of slowly moving forward with each part I finished the last step to train a TensorFlow model on the footage of the 🦊 fox I collected hours of footage 📹 with the fox roaming around my garden, from this I labeled around 2000 images with the fox by hand ✋ Honestly, I was quite skeptical training the model was actually gonna work, maybe this was partly the reason I avoided working on this until the very end. If I couldn’t train a model to detect the fox, this whole robot would never be able to function properly. On the flipside though, with no previous experience in hardware or electronics there was a bit of a learning curve and I didn’t want to end up labeling thousands of images, training a TensorFlow model, only to fail on building the hardware. As I started building, I realized that mixing hardware and software adds quite another dimension to debugging things. At times I wasted hours debugging code in my IDE, only to realize the issue was somewhere in the electronics. Furthermore, combining this side project with a full time job and a young family, is not always easy. It can be quite frustrating, to know you only need 4 hours of concentrated effort for a small task, having to spread it out across a week of 20min increments. Then, a few months into the build I noticed the fox had stopped coming to my garden, in fact one day, I recorded her walking with 3 cute little 🐶 pups, and the next day I saw her moving out of my garden completely. Did she know I was building a robot? I had this strange mix of feelings, happy my garden was safe from poop and digging, happy she was safe with her pups, but how was I gonna finish this project if my robot had no fox to detect? For sure they would be back next year, I figured I could postpone the whole thing until next winter, but I also knew it was gonna be much harder to pick up momentum if I did let it sit there for six months. So I decided to keep working, hoping the fox would reappear,.. but she never did. As I finished labeling the footage and started training my model, I could finally see the mAP results, quantifying the precision of my object detection model. It was measuring at 78% across different metrics on detecting my fox. I quickly ran the model on some of the video footage I got from my fox. Inference speed took a hit, but it did a near perfect job detecting the fox, even when she was deep down in the grass or wizzing past in a motion blur. It took me by surprise how well it worked. With the default model I had to drop my confidence threshold way down to 15%, to recognize the fox as 🦜“bird” in one or two frames, with my custom model it followed the fox all the way down to the back of the garden! Still this didn’t solve the issue of there being no actual fox in my garden and how was I gonna wrap this project in a short timeframe. I played with the idea of putting a fox toy 🧸 on an RC 🚗 car, or borrowing a dog to run around the garden to test. Friends suggested I run around the garden in a fox costume.. what a ridiculous idea. I wasn’t really feeling the idea of running around the garden in a floppy cloth fox 🎭 costume, but had a look anyway. I came across these self inflating costumes. This actually could be perfect. Since it’s inflated, it would hold its shape super well, making it much easier to label, train and be recognized by my robot. So I got the costume and shot a time lapse of myself as a fox walking around the garden. I labeled it to around 600 images. Ran the model training again and got a mAP result of 82%. This was even better than my real fox! At this point I knew this was gonna work. So here’s the final 🎥 video, just having some fun with it. I’ll update here whenever the real fox does come back. On a final note, I’m looking for (remote) jobs in these fields of AI now: - object detection - visual generative AI - 3D (nerfs + gaussian splats) So if you know anything let me know!
