I think amazing for prototyping, but similar to 3D printing, the limitations and cost per part will greatly limit the production applicability, but where it's unique capabilities lie it will be valuable. Definitely awesome technology.

Been awhile since I got a tour of Metalcrafters They were prepared for one-off custom work using skilled (Cuban or Venezuelan) labor to hand form parts And automation to create multiple working prototype cars I bet they're excited to see roboforming

Casting, too. If you're talking pure large scale manufacturing casting wins out for cycle time. Roboforming would work better for processes where die's can't/won't be used.
