My old rescue chickens lay 'brain eggs'. Could you fix them all for me so I can sell them again? 50/50 cut in profits. There's up to 75p a day in it for you. I'd go up to 60/40 at a push cos we're getting sick of quiche.

Canadian man undergoes "tooth in eye" surgery to restore his sight, the first of its kind in Canada. The procedure uses a tooth of the patient to be used as a structure for an artificial cornea. Before the tooth can be put in the eye, it is placed in the cheek, following it being shaved into a rectangle. A hole is drilled in the tooth and a lens is placed inside. The tooth is then implanted in the cheek for three months. "[The tooth] doesn’t have any connective tissue that I can actually pass a suture through to connect it to the eyeball. So the point of implanting it for three months is for it to gain the layer of supporting tissue," said Dr. Greg Moloney. Patient Brent Chapman has already had the first surgery and will be going onto phase 2 when it's time to remove the tooth from the cheek. The second surgery will require doctors to remove Chapman's iris and lens, before sewing the tooth into his eye. If successful, Chapman will be able to see through the small hole.

Three 16 year old Indian students can remove microplastics from water using tamarind seeds. And they've received a $12,500 grant from The Earth Prize to develop this solution. How did they do it? Tamarind seeds have something called polysaccharide - which is a sticky compound that can natural polymer. Kinda like a plant-based glue. This glue when mixed with water can pull out microplastics and clump them together. And these kids are using the same principle to develop their product called "Plas-Stick" - which is just this power made from waste tamarind seeds. Now, "Plas-Stick" is still in its developmental stage and there is a lot that needs to be done before it can be scaled. But if they pull this off - we could have a simple, biodegradable and scalable solution to purify water for billions of people in the world. And that's something.
