Yeah, people make mistakes but machines glitch and break too. I’d still trust an actual surgeon with my life before I let a robot cut me open. Like, if machines built for war can malfunction lol

The way those instruments handle such delicate work without damaging the fruit really shows why this tech is changing the game in the OR. Impressive demo.

That kiwi is going to live a long and healthy life.

Seems great until the machines are peeling your skin off layer by layer demanding you reveal the location of the last human stronghold

Have you met Dr. Channard? He was quite the pioneer in this kind of stuff.

My brain surgery was done this way. It was a keyhole craniotomy. It was done by the same brain surgeon who would later go on to do this guy's surgery:

@Miste_Joe I wonder how many prototypes and trials it took to approve it for human use finally. It's something incredible that I have experienced.

Si, que bonito¡ pero el día que el robot tenga un error te puede destrozar, no dejan de ser maquinas.

Impressive demo of dexterity. A kiwi doesn’t bleed, doesn’t move, and doesn’t have a nerve bundle next to it. The system is only as good as the surgeon driving it — this just shows how little room there is left for tremor.

Precision at this scale is insane. Robotic surgery is basically engineering meeting biology at the micron level. The real breakthrough is when this precision becomes accessible everywhere. 🤖🩺
