Roger Clark has stated in an interview with Cade Onder that he has never met or spoken to Sam Houser, and that he actually only ever spoke to Dan Houser on two occasions across the 5 years that he worked on Red Dead Redemption 2. Dan Houser apparently wanted... to separate Arthur from Roger in his mind. I love hearing these behind-the-scenes tidbits and I also adore hearing about different people’s creative processes. Every individual is so unique, and it’s awesome to hear a little bit more about what went into creating Red Dead Redemption 2 and how Rockstar functions. Awesome video by the GOAT Cade Onder Rod Edge was the person who would direct the cast on set. It’s likely that this is the case for GTA 6 too. Man, I can’t wait to hear about the game’s production after it comes out.show more

He offers some VERY interesting insight into the both of them. The biggest takeaway for me is that seems as if Sam Houser really, REALLY cares about the quality of their games. This shouldn’t really be a surprise, but it’s awesome to hear just how passionate he truly is about them. He lists Rockstar’s Table Tennis as an example of this. Apparently that game was “his baby” and is largely why it turned out so good. THIS is why GTA 6 has taken so long. It’s been said over and over again, but Rockstar really does seek perfection, and it’s really cool to hear that Sam Houser’s passion for gaming is a big part of why that’s the case.

To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. Red Dead Redemption 2 on the other hand has a completely different NPC interaction system where you have the option to greet, antagonize or rob NPCs. These options alone can give you the freedom to greet an NPC first, then immediately antagonize them to allow for different outcomes based on how you choose to interact with NPCs. This alone was a game changer and you can expect Grand Theft Auto VI to have an even more complex NPC interaction system compared to Red Dead Redemption 2, with more dialogue options and different outcomes. Its probably one of the reasons why GTA VI is taking much longer to develop, imagine how many lines of dialogue Rockstar Games had to record and make all of them work seamlessly by the time the game comes out.

His name is David Bahnsen, and aside from managing over $7 billion in assets, David has forgotten more about the global economy than most economists will ever remember. He has also written a terrific book called Full-Time Work and the Meaning of Life. It’s really good, and I wanted to talk to him about why he wrote it, and why he believes that retirement is rarely a recipe for happiness. I went on a couple of dates with this guy in 2018, and I won’t lie, over the years, I’ve definitely thought about him. Come to find out, his “boyfriend” is his husband… he made it seem like they broke up. After a drunken FaceTime, I find out that they are MARRIED. He told me they broke up but never said that they were legally together. I found out after I stalked them on Instagram AFTER the call. Mind you, I’ve never met his husband, but his husband has me blocked on everything. Given the info, it has to be true because again, I’ve never met the guy. The husband knows that he apparently never forgot about me and that he’s contemplated leaving him to try and pursue me. I didn’t even know he got married… or that they were still together. Oh and by the way, they are still together. I was a little traumatized not gonna lie. 🫨

I’ll be honest, this is not what I was expecting today. Only two responded to the gospel when typically it’s many more students than that. Though you’ll never hear me say “numbers don’t matter” I also recognize that every person matters to the Lord. One of the students who came forward told me this was the first time he ever made a decision for Jesus after hearing many “religious speakers and clubs”. That meant something to me. Whether it’s thousands or a few, the gospel truly is the power that saves! What a privilege to help lead others into the same encounter I once was so desperate for. Tomorrow we go to school number 3! 🔥
