Roger Marshall’s false attacks have already been investigated and debunked by reporters across Kansas. This type of mudslinging is exactly what’s wrong with Washington right now. These are the attacks of a desperate, flailing candidate. It’s time to bring decency back to politics.

They reported it to camp leaders the next day. Church officials (including staff member Randy Meyer and volunteer Nancy Brown) conducted an internal investigation. Court records state the boys could not positively identify the person because of darkness and a light shone in their faces. An appellate decision later described camp leaders as dismissive of the claims; trial testimony summarized in reporting said one youth minister accused the boys of slander. The investigation was inconclusive, the 2005 incidents were not immediately reported to law enforcement, and Moore was allowed to return as a counselor the following year

Were the cops called to investigate after the 2005 incident before the 2006 incident? Did you talk with the boy and his parents after the 2005 incident? Were the church officials who investigated qualified to investigate? If not - were they removed from that role later?
