Rolie Polie Olie (1998-2004)

If you were a kid in the late '90s or early 2000s, Rolie Polie Olie was probably a big part of your childhood! This CGI-animated series, created by William Joyce, aired from 1998 to 2004 on Disney Channel’s Playhouse Disney block. The show followed Olie, a super cheerful, round-bodied robot boy who lived in a whimsical, retro-futuristic world filled with other spherical and geometric characters. His adventures often revolved around family, friendship, and the joys of childhood, all wrapped up in a colorful, 1950s-style aesthetic.

I feel like this show should have a reboot similar to the 2013 Micky Mouse shorts. The music from the shorts sound like it came from Rolie Polie Olie.

i remember this but not the show specifically. i remember there was a game based off of this show that js had like little minigames, child me LOVED THAT sm

I was always more of a Stanley and PB&J Otter fan, I think since the show was catered more towards the preschool crowd I just felt like I was too old for it given that I was around 8 years old when it premiered. Yeah I know that’s kind of dumb thing to say given that Playhouse Disney was a cartoon block aimed at preschoolers. But again I was 8 when this show was on so you can’t really blame me for thinking that way
