There are 3 types of people who don't believe in evolution 1. Trolls/ragebaiters 2. Christians 3. People who don't understand that evolution has been happening since the dawn of life and that billions of years is a really long time

i love the thermodynamics arguement they present since by that logic no piece of technology should ever have come into existance, and also the second law of thermodyamics just has other problems irrelated to evolution

If you listen very closely, you can hear the goalposts being moved

EVERY SPECIES IS A TRANSITIONAL SPECIES, EVOLUTION DOESNT JUST STOP, IF THEY CANT TRANSISTION THEY FUCKING DIE

"In a group of things that are all slightly different from each other, whoever has the most useful difference for survival will survive long enough to have children and pass those differences to their kid." What is so confusing about evolution, it's God damned logical thinking.

Very entertaining to dismiss [scientific consensus] on the basis of [scientific consensus]. Shows the dreary decline of anti-evolution arguments that all they can do is lean their misunderstanding of science on another misunderstanding of science.

I'm not evolutionary biologist but what does the third law of thermodynamics have to do with it?

Imagine mixing up entropy and evolution this aggressively. 💀

This makes me appreciate PBS Eons even more, cause I got this whole joke

Bro pulled the 3rd law of thermodynamics out like it's a Pokémon card. 😭

Always found the implication funny that the device already had the information for the missing links and a button to display them, and it's owned by the guy saying they don't exist. Wonder if the implied meaning was that he knew what he was doing and arguing in bad faith.

Futurama showed this so well. It doesn't matter how many times you find a link, there always needs to be every single micro gap proved or you are just denying god or something. Even if you did, they'd still find something.

People bringing up thermodynamics while talking evolution are clearly experts on both lol

They really do be pushing the god of the gaps fallacy while also ignoring all the evidence because it disagrees with their pre-established world view

I believe in the theory of evolution, but I remember a piece of information that explained that it is not 100% accurate to say that humans descended from monkeys but that there were additional factors and situations.

I think the second point he makes is much funnier.

Hate when Matt Groening fucks up information. Darwinius Masillae isn't on the lineage between apes and humans, but rather that it's just before the split between simians and prosimians (lemurs, tarsiers, and the like) 47 million years ago.

Well in actuality, evolution doesn’t go in a straight parallel line. It goes into a mosaic of different branches

holy shit this is the best clip i have ever seen for explaining why the concept of a missing link is stupid, thank you so much

He keeps moving the goalpost and he still finds the answer

Hit tweet follow me because I’m her gf

Oh man, I run into people that deny evolution in humans all the time but a full on across the board evolution for everything denier I don’t get to laugh at nearly as often XD

Nothing could've prepared me for where this thread started

you can prove like most of the anti evolution crowd wrong with this video it comes into my mind so much

I am genuinely baffled by what they are even trying to say with the thermodynamics argument.

Hell, natural selection existing at all proves evolution's possibility, and these gnats and flies are definitely a lot harder to swat than they were when I was a kid. (Also antibiotic resistant bacteria.)

Esas personas que no creé en la evolución y piensa que debe ser una línea recta xd Un árbol tiene menos ramas que la evolución de cualquier mamíferos

>Vtuber fan being retarded Water is wet moment.

Thats umineko

I love and hate that this clip is timeless. I yearn for the day it is nothing more than a joke about an extinct idea

Unrelated but goated episode
