I know your mission is to slander Catholic Christians, but at least make a tiny attempt to understand the Catholic position. We are material and spiritual beans. God/Angels are pure spirit, but man is not. And we must worship God, according to our two fold nature. Through the material we manifest the spiritual through speech, writing music, art, architecture, etc. and we dedicate these things to God‘s service in religion. These artifacts, statues, Stainglass windows, etc., are all there to “set the mood” if you will. Appealing to our material self to elevate it to loftier ideals. God does not just want one part of our nature, but the whole of our nature. Incents stimulate the sense of smell. Beautiful music stimulates hearing, etc. Beautiful churches appeal to our eyes/our spirit because we are created in the image of God who is beautiful, etc. Again we dedicate our entire nature towards God.

St. Thomas founded Christianity in India in 52 AD. Unlike Baptists, St. Thomas Christians have apostolic succession, are part of the one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church and affirm the Nicene Creed. You will never see a news story about them like this:
