Moldova isn't synonymous with N Bukovina & Bessarabia (different borders). "Saved" is problematic because the Romanians killed & deported Jews as well as got into fights with Ukrainian nationalists in these regions.

Reading a book about these events now. So many events in such short time, so much terror and suffering, death and horrible things being done on all sides. So important to know about it because we must now allow this to happen again, but we’re kinda failing right now.
