This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. He didn’t speak to me for the rest of the semester because of it, something tells me I was better off not offering to help in the first place.

cwjltma performance behind 🐰 i have a funny story, after day 1 got over, me, taehyun and beomgyu were eating dinner together 🐿️ 😭😭😭 THAT WAS SO UNFAIR TO ME 🐰 during cwjltma, the move starts on the right side but that day, taehyun made a mistake in the center so after that, me and beomgyu went “taehyun, you have to start from the left” and we told him to do it that way 🐰 on day 2, i realized that it starts from the right side and i was doing it on the right side from habit but this guy started from the left 🐿️ even right before we went on, i was telling myself to do it like “left side left side left side” 🧸 that’s why on day 2…i hadn’t really thought about it, i was just doing it according to muscle memory so i was like “huh i told taehyun it starts from the left so why does it feel so comfortable starting from the right side…” so during verse 2, i remembered telling taehyun to start from the left so i started from the left side too and i looked to the side and me & taehyun were the only ones starting from the left side and everyone else was starting from the right 🐰 the cutest freaking thing about taehyun was that, because he was getting confused with the right and left side, he just did it in the center on day 1 🐿️ it wouldn’t have been obvious since i was in the center so i just did it like that 🦊 so on day 1, you didn’t make an obvious mistake but on day 2, you made an obvious mistake 🐿️ yeah, i got it right today 🧸 after i finished, i was like “taehyun, it was the right side” 🐧 you should’ve talked to this hyung (🦊) 🐿️ our performance direction team was there yesterday and i was out of stamina so i didn’t understand what you said, i thought you said “taehyun, you did well” but then the pd team came up to me and went “was cwjltma a symmetrical choreography???” ⭐️ 😭😭😭 🐿️ and i was like “no it wasn’t???” 🦊 you asked the wrong people 🐧 you should’ve asked this guy 🧸 you should’ve asked the right person 🤣

I’ve only been to a country club once and it was a blast. You see, I went there knowing I was about to be ripped off. The beer cart woman was super cool and we drank all day long. I’m not much of a golfer, I just was never good at it but at the time I was a great drinker. This gentleman ordered a Fireball single expecting it to be supermarket prices and was giving her a hard time because it was $9. She’s right you know, she didn’t make the price but she shouldn’t have lowered it either, cheap people will then expect it. I remember telling all of you about the pizza shop, sometimes people going there with money, just not enough of it. This man was coming home from the amusement park and walked into the shop, he said I have a car full of kids, about 6 people total and all I have left is $15, what can you do for me? As a courtesy, I made him a half sheet of pica, loaded with toppings and gave it to him as a gesture of goodwill. We are part of the community and wanted to treat everyone as good neighbors. The problem with that was my good deed didn’t go unpunished because he came back a week later with the same story. I told him It was a one time deal to be cool and I couldn’t do it again. He got mad and stormed off. He ended up calling corporate because I got a call on my cell about it. I told them what happened and they sided with me. They said gestures like that is good publicity and word of mouth creates good PR for the company. But cheap people with a sob story aren’t good customers. Would you have done the same as I? I didn’t lose any sleep over it but I was wondering if I did the right thing.
