This is how taxes work: Fed prints a dollar. Transaction was made. Call it 20% tax. Now .80 is available but 1.00 is still needed for next transaction. Again And again And again Tax man has a whole dollar while everyone else has to come up with that .20 out of thin air.

Not sure how most Americans aren’t Ron Swanson after the past few years. Government is terrible.
