Don't mock a man who suffered from early onset dementia, ate jelly beans and consulted an astrologer on national security matters.

Ronald Reagan couldn’t understand economics, following the law, or that astrology was nonsense.

Reagan was also confused by economics, language, foreign affairs and reality in general.

Another argument from incredulity. Atheism is simply the realization that gods are cultural ideas and do not exist in reality.

Is this supposed to convince somebody of something?

My Grandfather was a watch maker. When he was in Sicily the elites would ask him to create watches for them and when he came to the US for most of the initial years he was contracted to repair some of their expensive watches and clocks and at times to make a watch or a clock for them. One day when I was about 6, I went to his workroom as always but that day I had a question in mind for him--he had taught me to say prayers in the night before I went to sleep and in the morning when I woke up and I did. But it occured to me that I was saying something to God but I never saw Him and never heard him say anything back to me so I wondered how my Grandfather knew He was there. He smiled and answered me, turned the hands on the clock to the hour and it rang. He took a watch and held it to my ear and I could hear it ticking. And then the lesson I have never forgotten-- My boy, the people I made that clock for and the man I made that watch for do not know me, they have never seen my face because they ordered the clock and the watch from my jeweler friend but every day when they look at the clock or check the watch for the time they know that someone had to make it--and that someone is me-- when you see the sun--know that someone had to make it-- it was God, when you feel yourself breathe someone had to make the lungs and the air--it was God and even if you can´t see Him or hear Him that doesn´t mean He isn´t there--God is always there and He is always ready to give you what His time and that is why you pray and should keep praying all your life even if you can´t see Him or hear His voice.

The poor man suffered mentally. It seems Eric Hovind is a meme merchant. If you want to attack atheism - demonstrate your own belief is true

He was a good storyteller & could deliver a line. He earned his political chops as Gov. of California. His undoing was Iran- Contra and dementia. He was the last gasp of the old America I grew up in. He and House Speaker Tip O’Neill, 2 Irishmen, would hold court at the Dubliner.

Sure. Reagan couldn't comprehend atheism, yet couldn't comprehend basic empathy for his long-time Hollywood friend Rock Hudson. When Hudson was dying of AIDS and reached out for humanitarian help accessing treatment, Reagan chose political silence. 🙄

So essentially the watchmaker fallacy. This argument don't work, because it still gets into question which God. It also is dumb because a cook at least I can see examples of food being prepared but there's no examples of a new world being created.

So because a bad actor from the 1950’s wasnt smart enough to understand the difference between a meal and evolution I should denounce my atheism???

Those who don’t understand atheism have their heads too far up their own butts to understand. Atheism literally isn’t a hard thing to understand. Person A: I believe in a god. Person B: I don’t. Literally that simple.

The argument from design is the most self-owning, spectacularly backfiring of all the arguments for the existence of a deity. Improbability gets explained (away) by positing even more improbability (conveniently defined as 'necessary'). Superb thinking, guys.

The only reason that you conclude that any man-made thing is well Man-made is because you have the point for reference to do so. The universe is not a man-made object.

There was a long list of things that Ronald Reagan couldn’t understand. If it couldn’t fit into a short form article in Reader’s Digest, then it was pretty much beyond him.

Tracks that someone who came up with the travesty of trickle down economics is too dumb to understand how "I don't believe your story" works.
