Almost Off the Waitlist Hopefully🤞…My indexing is finally done… just waiting on Apple to hit the button from the servers 🤔👍 Most of the features are working.. even a partial of the New Siri AI … and When I asked the new siri ai something it actually does the request but not in the dynamic Island… It still has the same glow around the screen like an iOS 26 so still partial.. so I asked her to pull up my last conversation from iMessage and it did it, not like the old Siri that says I’m sorry I don’t know how to do that!

The "8-12 reps for hypertrophy" myth exists because enhanced bodybuilders grow from anything. Before the 1960s steroid era, everyone trained heavy: 4-6 reps, compound lifts, progressive overload. Then steroids arrived. Suddenly bodybuilders could do 20-set arm workouts with drop sets and supersets and still grow because the drugs were doing the work. I watched Robot on the Road and honestly I did not really know what to expect going in At the beginning it just feels like a pretty normal little road trip setup with this robot hitchhiking around Japan and it almost gives off a chill slice of life vibe But it does not stay like that for long The more it goes on the more you realize the robot is doing some really questionable stuff and the way it focuses on women without their consent makes the whole thing feel really uncomfortable By the end I was not really sure if I was supposed to find it funny or just feel weird about it Overall it feels like one of those shorts that tries to mix dark humor with awkward situations but it mostly just ends up being unsettling

So many times in anime and movies, someone jumped in the air for an attack and the guy dodged the attack while he was in the air, so he redirected the hit of the attack, he definetly would have not landed like a braindead bot without trying to turn and hit the enemy, so it totally makes sense. The AI looks more dynamic, it's looks alive and that's cool. So that attack is totally so natural in my book. As I said, we could discuss about other attacks and the tracking of them in Ninja Gaiden 4, but that one ? I would die on a hill to say that attack is totally legit and I'm so glad that it is exactly like this. Like I absolutely defend NG2 Alexei, Volf, Liz and other bosses attacks. I could mention also NG2, NG3RE, Nioh , Wo Long and Stranger of Paradise, because in so many years, I NEVER saw anybody complaining about the SAME KIND of thing and attack like in those games, but when it comes into NG4, people will find any EXCUSES to hate it and find issues, even when there are not. But some people that are just happy to find something to bring on their NG4 hater agenda. Here some quick examples and most of those people that are complaining about that attack in NG4, are the same that praise those games, only because there no Ninja Gaiden name on it, so there is no hate agenda to bring on vs them 😅

This is what “rich” looks like I wake up everyday feeling like I hit the lotto. Not when I’m up on a trade or when I drive one of my cars, but in quiet moments like this. Just a few years ago, I was facing prison time. Broke. Delivering food on DoorDash to scrape together a few hundred bucks to fund my trading account. We shared a one-bedroom apartment with $500 to our name after bills. The journey from there to here wasn’t overnight. It wasn’t glamorous. It was a grind that broke me down before it built me up…but it made me the man I am today. Yes, I have the cars and watches now that people associate with success. But I can tell you with absolute certainty…they don’t compare to this. Building a life with someone who believed in you when nobody else did and winning the game of life Trading changed my financial situation, but gratitude changed my life. If you’re reading this and still in the grind, just keep pushing. I know it may seem like it will never work, but it will. You have to believe that. You have to be thankful for every little thing because without the bad there is no good. Without the bad you become weak. The most important thing is to remember what you’re working towards and make sure there is real meaning behind it. There’s nothing wrong with cars or a lavish lifestyle… But the only way you’ll have the hunger to get it and sustain it long term… Is by having a higher purpose that you constantly remind yourself of.

As I sit here in DC this week, we are closer to something I was not sure I would ever see. I have been working in this industry since 2015. For most of those years, the defining feature of crypto in Washington was not policy. It was the absence of it. A gray zone where serious people built serious things under a constant cloud, never quite sure which rules applied or whether the ground would move beneath them. This week the CLARITY Act sits on the Senate calendar. A federal framework for digital asset market structure, the thing this industry has wanted for the better part of a decade, is closer than it has ever been. It is not law yet, and there are real hurdles left. But the distance between where we stood a few years ago and where we are sitting today is hard to put into words. I keep thinking about the work that got us here. Over the past year I watched Chainlink move from outside these conversations to inside them. Sergey at the White House for the signing of the GENIUS Act. The Department of Commerce putting government economic data onchain. Meetings with the SEC that became real interpretive guidance. Conversations with the lawmakers now writing the rules. None of that happens by accident. It happens because people keep showing up, year after year, and make the case in rooms where it is not yet obvious. And there is something fitting in it. The entire premise of what we build is verification. Making truth provable. Removing the question of what is real. The work here in DC is the same thing in a different form. Trading a decade of ambiguity for something the industry has never actually had. We are not at the finish line. But sitting here, it is hard not to feel the weight of it. The gray zone is ending. What comes next is something this industry has never had. Clarity.

Day 12/90 of Inference Engineering What is chunked prefill within vLLM? In continuation of yesterday's post on the high level architecture of vLLM, I want to dive deeper into vLLM core engine starting with the mechanics of chunked prefill. In this post, I will closely follow the original blog on the anatomy of vLLM. To start, let's define chunked prefill. It's a runtime inference optimization technique that splits a long input request so that it doesn’t monopolize the whole GPU. Keep in mind this is all within the context of vLLM. And since vLLM is an inference engine that's meant to serve a model to multiple concurrent users, having a GPU that’s fully monopolized on a single user's request means other users' requests would be in queue waiting to be processed. It isn’t too good to have the whole GPU occupied on a single request when the GPU is meant to be shared! So the key idea behind chunked prefill is to break the long request into smaller chunks, so that each chunk along with other users' requests gets processed and written into the KV cache together. Suppose we split up the long request into chunks and each chunk has 8 tokens. Now each memory block can hold 4 tokens. Therefore, 8 tokens can fit into 2 blocks of memory. After the first forward pass, 2 blocks are occupied, and after the second forward pass, 4 blocks of memory are occupied and so forth. Each forward pass handles a small chunk of the long request so that there's room in the same pass to keep serving other users' requests. Here's a small animation that I made today to fully visualize the idea behind chunked prefill when learning this topic~

Rumor has it I’m still swimming… 😂 Lol, but hey, I’m about to get real for a second. There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. But it’s in moments like this where I remind myself that I CAN swim… and I’m actually a damn strong swimmer at that! I may have to hold my breath for a little longer, or paddle a bit harder, but I always make it to the other side. So this is your reminder to just keep swimming. If I can do it, so can you. Whatever it is, you’ve got this ❤️ #mentalhealth

Why Having a Satellite Network is So Important In 2023, the Russians were about to close a deal with a certain North Korean MLRS, but the deal fell through exactly because the North Koreans, +20 years ago, had revolted against Russian opposition to their nuclear program and switched from GLONASS to BeiDou. Only few years ago, the NK returned to Glonass and started converting their equipment to work with dual GNSS guidance. But why did the deal sour? Because the Chinese did not authorize the use of their satellites in the Ukraine conflict. The same problem occurred with the Belarusian POLONEZ MLRS, which uses missiles based on Chinese technology. Today, Iran has switched from GPS to BeiDou, aiming for greater resistance to jammers and integration with Chinese systems. This shows that a missile program is much more than the missiles themselves. It is necessary to have one's own constellation, even if it is strictly military and regionalized, with resources for monitoring and target acquisition, in addition to the ability to deal with jammers and spoofers. When I mentioned Iran and BeiDou, it is the beginning and serves as a gateway that enables integration with Chinese networks, provided the Chinese decide to allow it. However, it is essentially a massive gateway, with numerous smaller, more specialized sub-channels operating underneath. For targeting moving objects, Iran would need to receive data from the Guowang or Yaogan networks. In the last six months, the Chinese could have provided partial integration. At this stage, since the Iranians are conducting their ISR primarily with drones, I believe the Chinese are not sharing data from the LEO satellites in those networks. Iran also has its own satellites, but the Chinese network is far more mature and likely equipped with a wide array of integration and data-sharing tools. While the Chinese are providing intelligence to Iran, I believe they are prudent in doing so to preserve the relationships they have built with other Arab states. At this moment, I believe that the sharing of intelligence from satellites isn’t in real time. For a country like Iran, it is crucial to have GNSS independence with its own program. The same applies to other medium-sized countries, which need at least an LEO constellation capable of providing the minimum ISR, and this is linked to security, but also a series of other factors. I'll give a practical example here. Drones usually lose link with 50% of their range in the Amazon due to weather conditions. With an LEO constellation, this would not occur. Today, to have independence, a constellation project is necessary.

Today is also Shiroko's birthday, the other Shiroko. She came from far away, traveling a long and winding road to be here now. Same name, same birthday, but the weight of the years between them could not be more different. Still, this Shiroko is someone who chose to get back on the pedals again. Every day she finds something broken and brings it back to life with her own hands, and that tells you everything. Some quirks seem to stay the same no matter which world she comes from, though. I just need to say it… Some of you have LOST YOUR FRIGGIN MINDS over Hurricane Milton We Do live in Sarasota County where it’s making landfall right now but do NOT live on the coast (15 miles+ inland) People have been telling us all day that we deserve to die for not leaving and to write our daughters SSN on their arms to be identified. The video to the left is the worst it has gotten. Now I want to be VERY VERY clear. If you live on the beach, are in a mobile home, or a major flood zone… Evacuation is a NECESSITY. I hope those people all got out and are safe. But I’m not joking. I’ve had family and friends telling me that ALL Florida is going to be wiped out by Milton. And to kiss my daughters goodbye tonight because we stayed. Now I mostly blame the over sensationalist media for hyping everyone up making it sound like this was going to make landfall as the most catastrophic storm in history. It literally made landfall as a Cat 3 120mph winds. Thats far from the largest. People saw that it was a Cat 5 with 200 mph winds when it was in the middle of the ocean and thought it would land at that. TikTok and random “weather people” didn’t make this any better. It’s like the whole country was watching us like NASCAR… hoping to see that fatal crash. It’s messed up.

The discourse around the Eze penalty last night is fascinating. If nothing else it provides Arteta with an excuse as to how his team has been hard done by and robbed. He loves excuses. It’s a fascinating situation because I actually think the right outcome was reached albeit through the wrong process. Once given on the field under the current rules it shouldn't have been overturned. For that Arsenal can feel aggrieved. Don't forget Arsenal were the beneficiaries of an incredibly soft penalty in Leverkusen. It wasn’t overturned. I find the attached video interesting because it clearly shows how minimal the contact is. The defender doesn’t pin Ezes foot to the ground. Doesn’t smash into it. It brushes down the side of it. It’s where the still pictures of it were wildly misleading. Are we really saying that contact such as that is worthy of a penalty? What’s clear in the video is that Eze has absolutely made the most of the slight contact. I love the straight left leg. A very natural position. It’s a brilliant dive and normally it would have been rewarded. By saying that is a stone wall penalty all we are doing is encouraging such theatrics and cheating. Whenever you hear the words “that was clever” by a commentator they are intimating the player has cheated/made the most of it. We complain about refs all the time but what chance do they have when players are doing stuff like this. Until players are punished properly there is no disincentive for players to keep doing this stuff. I also find it fascinating when you have a foot brushed like this. When you compare it to all the holding/pushing/grappling at other times. Sometimes a contact sport and others not. Is this really what football has become?

HAVZTEZ LLC equipment is leaving the company to be exhibited at the MSITF-2025 exhibition organized by the Defense Industry Agency under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which will be held from May 29 to July 1 (Victory Park, Tashkent). ARSLON, TQARLON-M, and TO'FON 155/52 self-propelled guns. The video also shows a covered modernized T-64B tank, which will be the “star” of the exhibition. The main focus of the modernization is the replacement of the 5TDF engine with a new 950-horsepower Doosan DP222LC. The Doosan DP222LC is mainly used in generator sets and is optimized for long-term operation at fixed speeds. The engine is commercially available and has proven itself well, but how it will perform in a tank remains to be seen. It is clear that replacing the BKP with an electric transmission is a logical step. Considering that the 5TDF cannot be repaired in Uzbekistan, stocks are clearly running out, and for obvious reasons it is not possible to replace it with a modern 6TDF, the result of this re-engining option is very interesting. So, it is not worth criticizing the Uzbek project in advance, especially since the ARSLON 8X8 and ARSLON 6X6 projects are quite up to par.

GPT-5.5 is MUCH more reliable on longer running tasks - for the first time with any model. As we speak I have a migration running for over 7+ hours - this literally never happened before, the models would maybe run for 30 mins or of you really shout at them for 2-3 hours. Last night I went to sleep, set a long running task, then queued up 10 prompts to 'keep it going'. It did not stop after the first prompt and kept going for 8+ hours and I woke up to all the same prompts still queued up. The ability to run for a long time, in combination with ability to validate with computer use & other tools, makes it much more useful for building real applications.
