@SaintHeartwing Making major leaps to reach that conclusion because absolutely nobody outside of her tight circle of fans has understood the apertures with eyes everywhere as being a direct reference to Roo. As Saint pointed they at BEST allude to Hell being dysfunctional and creepy.

She's mentioned in Helluva Boss along with wooden eyes similar to the ones in Alastor's ritual, and in the following episode her symbol appears on a wall We don't even know what they're gonna do with her yet, relax lol

anytime a character mentions 'the root of evil' is not a indication that that character exists, jesus christ. it's just a figure of speech for crying out loud.

Who is going to think that Charlie is referring to Roo herself and not just the word/term evil? Without prior knowledge, it looks like she's referring to the first sin and how humanity was cursed with it, which is why they're called sinners.

When I first watched hazbin, I had no idea who or what a Roo even was until very recently. So it looked like symbolism for "Heaven and Hell" or "Angels and Demons" when talking about Good and Evil. Cause that's what many normally associates them as.

Remember when all the eyes at once looked directly into the canera and said “WE ARE ROO, THE FINAL VILLAIN OF AMAZON PRIME’S HAZBIN HOTEL BY VIVIENNE MEDRANO.”

I didn't even know roo existed until yesterday nor did I know these eyes were hers. this is definitely something you should learn about by, idk, WATCHING THE SHOW rather than a random panel at a convention or whatever

I'm lucky (or unlucky) enough to have heard about this character beforehand, but that doesn't change the fact it was a terrible decision on her part. This whole show is now just US waiting for the series to catch up on our knowledge with no stakes.

No offense but this is some incredibly vague foreshadowing that could basically be mapped onto any villain. Wow, there's eyes everywhere! They've been watching everything happen! Hell, they could just say this was one of the vees if they wanted.

My friend, what you are describing is known as “setup,” which later leads into a “payoff” or otherwise know as the reveal. A setup is giving clues and implanting ideas without overtly confirming it. If there is no setup, the payoff isn’t satisfying. But the setup isn’t the reveal

To be fair... if someone watched *Hazbin* and liked it but isn't into the lore, they won't have a clue about Roo, the eyes, the symbols, etc. XD

Ngl, the problem with hazbin is the pacing, slow pacing is bad like with dbz or one piece, but too quick pacing also sucks, each episode should be an hour long, too many things happen and too much is shown each scene that may be important later on that can be easily missed.

It's called foreshadowing and you're not supposed to confirm anything until it happens 😭 otherwise all the work of putting in details to notice is for nothing

woow... eyes, creepy imagery and foreshadowing, of course I know who Roo is because of this and that they're gonna be the ultimate villain. no, of course I do not wanna find out for myself when the series get completed.

I thought the eyes might be sinners who died in the exterminations, or the "souls" of dead hellborns, or a kind of hellish surveillance system, or a way for angels to keep an eye on hell, or creatures hiding in the walls. Not once did I think "Oh this must be a person named Roo!"

We know Roo personifies evil, but that raises even more questions that I'm sure the show will answer later.

I have watched both series multiple times and I didn’t know anything about her. I usually don’t watch streams, and I am more into Helluva Boss anyway. It’s really easy not to know she exists.
