Rory McIlroy talked for more than 3 minutes about Jon Rahm, the DP World Tour penalties and the Ryder Cup. "In my opinion, it's a really generous deal. Like it's a much softer deal than what Brooks took to come back and play on the PGA Tour. "Obviously Jon doesn't think so, and he's obviously well within his rights to think that way. But I just don't see what more the European Tour can do to accommodate these guys to retain their membership."

Rory McIlroy thinks Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton should pay $6 million in DP World Tour fines to play in the next Ryder Cup. One of the biggest stories in golf right now is what will happen to Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton’s DP World Tour fines and will they maintain Ryder Cup eligibility for Adare Manor in 2027. As it stands, both Jon and Tyrrell, among other LIV players, have appealed their fines putting them in “stay” with no current information on when their appeal will be heard. Speaking ahead of the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Rory McIlroy thinks Jon and Tyrrell should just pay those fines and “prove” their commitment to the Ryder Cup: “Yeah, absolutely. Main thing is -- look, this is my opinion. We went really hard on the Americans about being paid to play the Ryder Cup, and we also said that we would pay to play in Ryder Cups. There's two guys that can prove it. Great. I think that's -- yeah.” This is a very interesting comment. What Rory McIlroy is suggesting here is that Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton pay $6 million each out of their own pockets to play in the same type of events that Rory gets enormous appearance fees for “supporting”. It’s also worth noting that Rory also plays the majority of his golf on a competitor to the DP World Tour and he doesn’t get fined for doing so. What do you think about this? Are the fines justified and should Jon and Tyrrell pay them?

Jon Rahm on Team Europe's practice trip to Adare Manor 🗣️🇪🇺 "Any time I'm asked to go to Adare Manor, I'm going to go happily and willingly. It's one of the best hotel golf course experiences there is in the world. It was a lot of fun. Obviously some Ryder Cup members, some possible prospects for the Ryder Cup. It was very enjoyable. "I think those days are great for all of us to see each other and just in a way remember why we do what we do. But for people that have never been involved in anything Ryder Cup related, I think it's great to get a little bit of an example of what things may look like and what things may be like."

Alperen Sengun on Deni Avdija (the relations between Turkey and Israel are on all-time low): "You know, I think that those stuff are a lot bigger than ours. We just going to represent our country, here, you know - the best we can. Deni is the same harder worker (as me). You know, great guy, great person. One of my good friends in this league. And like I said those stuff are a lot bigger than our stuff. We are just here doing what we love, and other stuff is out of our control. And hopefully, you know, of course basketball is the thing hopefully bring everyone love, and stay together - that's what we are here for. And like I said, the other stuff is out of our control, and hopefully, you know, it's all got into peace in all world, and that's all we wanted." Via Yoav Modai

Benny the Butcher gives an update on the status of Griselda: “The movement is going to be bigger than any one individual. Griselda is bigger than each one of us, and that’s the goal. We definitely got plans on doing another album…Everybody doing their own thing now, but I feel it’s past overdue that we do an album.”

Just like with Obama, you won't really see how bad of a decision this was until a few years. Obama literally paved the way for the LGBTQ movement through legislation and they called us homophobic. Now when we warn you of what is to come they will call us Islamaphobic. Just remember the world is bigger than the U.S. The world is bigger than Republican vs Democrat. We have become so woke we don't want to hurt people's feelings and that is what will be the thing that brings us to our knees.

It’s never just about the game or the task. It's about a group of people fighting for a bigger purpose... When we play, work, and live for something greater than ourselves, we bring out the best in each other and we honor God in the process.

Rory McIlroy on crowd behaviour at the Ryder Cup: “Look, I don't think we should ever accept that in golf. I think golf should be held to a higher standard than what was seen out there this week. Golf has the ability to you unite people. Golf teaches you very good life lessons. It teaches you etiquette. It teaches you how to play by the rules. It teaches you how to respect people. “Sometimes this week we didn't see that. So no, this should not be what is acceptable in the Ryder Cup. But you know, we will be making sure to say to our fans in Ireland in 2027 that what happened here this week is not acceptable, and for me, it's -- you know, come and support your home team. Come and support your team. “I think if I was an American, I would be annoyed that people -- I didn't hear a lot of shouts for Scottie today, but I heard a lot of shouts against me. It's like, support your players. That's the thing. “Look, it was a rough week for all of us. But at the same time, we shut them up by our performance and how we played, and we tried to -- I chirped back a few times because it got to me a few times, but we tried to handle everything that came our way with class and poise, and for the most part, I felt like we did that.” Well said 👏 🇪🇺

European woman speaks on the Islamification of Europe She says Muslims now have the dominant culture, their ‘Halal Market’ is bigger than the Christmas Market and they are demanding Sharia Law be implemented “The Halal market now is bigger than actually the Christmas market. So we see that the people that have come into our continent have not assimilated over time. They have become actually the dominant culture, and now we have to adjust to them. So they want to make the EU compatible with Shariah law. And it's a problem because our government should be the ones protecting us, but instead they're selling us out. Unless we go on the streets and we march and we take back our sovereignty in a peaceful way. I really want to say that in a very peaceful way. It's a cliche and I don't want to repeat myself or any other people, but look, Shariah law is not compatible with Western values. We stand for freedoms, we stand for democracy. It's simply not compatible with the West.”

For the first time ever the US Ryder Cup players will be paid to compete. Captain Keegan Bradley commented ahead of the playing at Bethpage: “We wanted to bring the Ryder Cup into today’s age and we felt like this was the best way to do it.” European players however, will not be paid and are just playing for pride this week. Jim Furyk wasn't afraid to say the quiet part out loud Wednesday: that Ryder Cup USA has failed in many places in recent years. In his second captaincy, he wants to pave the path forward to make sure those shortcomings stop happening now and into the future. "There's a lot of different things we can talk about that with I think we can grow and get better at -- our logistic, our travel, our schedule. We can get into our pairings. It's no secret that foursomes has been a glaring problem. Our team play the last two Ryder Cups on Friday and Saturday, we've dug massive holes. But foursomes is the glaring problem. "I think there's a lot of stones to be unturned, our analytics, and just how we grow and how we evolve in all those areas. This is something that I quite honestly have been thinking about for years because I've been involved with so many teams."

.James Talarico: This election shouldn't be about the Democratic Party or the Republican Party. It should be about chasing a vision of what our state can be: Texas schools that are the envy of the nation, a Texas economy that is second to none, and Texas families that are stronger and healthier than ever before. It won't happen overnight. But a giant state deserves giant dreams. We are bigger than extremism, we're bigger than partisanship, we're bigger than corruption. Texas is bigger than all of those things. Because it's not just a state. It's a state of mind. It’s a cause. Texans don't like tyrants, and we don't surrender easily. Tonight, standing before you to accept your nomination for the United States Senate, I make the same commitment to you that my ancestor made 200 years ago: "Any duty that my bodily strength would enable me to perform, either in public or private, that would advance the cause of Texas, I feel anxious and ever ready to perform."
