Alexey Likhachev, head of Rosatom (the world’s largest nuclear corporation) has told Putin that the company is building 28 nuclear power units across nine countries. “We are building 28 large, medium and small power units abroad,” Likhachev said. “Projects are progressing steadily in India, China, Turkey, Egypt, Iran, Bangladesh and Hungary.” He also highlighted Rosatom’s project in Uzbekistan, where construction formally began in June.
