Rough one last night. 💔 Has anyone ever accessed victim services? Is it worth it in this situation?

Awe so sorry it was too late I did hear the call dispatched and the report when bcas got there . Its would be best to talk to victim services thank you for trying

@Kamscan Krys, thank you for trying to help her. Victim Services is a good place to start if for nothing else just to be reassured that you did everything you could to help. Be kind to yourself and give yourself some space to grieve even if you didn't know her. It's still a loss for you.

Thank you for looking out for others, and sorry you had to go thru this. I am an ex-paramedic, and know first hand how these can affect one. Reach out to Victim Services for sure, or your doctor or EAP provider if you have access. The initial debrief is a very important step

@Kamscan Definitely do.

Yes access any services available too you 💕😞

Please reach out to victim services. They have all kinds of help available to you. You may not think you need it now but you may do in the future.

2/ stepped forward to try to help someone in a moment of need. There is a lot to process in this, especially if it is the first time you've encountered sudden death in that way. Be patient, be careful, be loving with yourself as you sort your way. ❤️

I'm sorry you had to go through that and please talk to someone it can't hurt. That's a really hard and scary and traumatic thing you experienced take care of yourself

It's 💯 worth it. They have tons of resources to help deal with the things you're going through.

Wow, you are a really good soul.
