UHM AKTUALLY: You can't get the Bike before this Route, the same Pokémon can't get Poisoned AND Paralyzed at the same time, the way to May isn't that long and you can always go back to the Pokémon Center to heal. Other than that I love the look on Brandons Face during this.

This is why I always keep a zigzagoon in my party. Free items often means healing items.

the second rival battle always scared me in my earlier playthroughs, but the real survival routes are Route 119 and Route 120/121
