He's got a point about Jonny Evans to be fair. He has no coaching experience, so why was he brought in to be a coach at one of the biggest clubs in the world when there are surely hundreds of experienced coaches currently out of work.

Not bothered about Evans. He knows the club. How we should play from the Fergie days. Nice guy and no doubt gets on well with everyone. A good character to have on the coaching staff. Holland sounds like a great coach. As does Travis Binnion. Craig Mawson I have no idea about. The only one I’m not mad about is Woodgate. Ask any proper Middlesbrough fan about him and you’ll hear some stories. Unprofessional af. Especially during management days. More so when he was manager rather than assistant so maybe there’s hope… He’ll know he has to behave now though. Biggest club in the world. All eyes are on him. No idea why Carrick likes him so much though but he does. Maybe he just doesn’t go against Carrick or something. Either way it’s all interim appointments for 4 months. It’s not that big a deal. Season’s more or less written off anyway barring a CL spot finish. Which you’d hope would be manageable anyway between Carrick and the people he’s brought in and the players available so let’s see. These top man utd ex-players might just be jealous of the likes of Ole, Carrick, fletcher and evans for having the balls to coach the club. Because deep down they know they can’t. I haven’t seen Ferdinand or Beckham speak bad about our players or manager, they always show support

Middlesbrough fan here and think Roy is right. If you look at Carrick results at Boro before and after Aaron Danks left for Bayern are telling. Hilland is a good appointment though.
