I completely agree with your observation that nobody is above the law, not even the Prime Minister. If every organisation is expected to comply with legal requirements and registration norms, why should the RSS be treated differently? What gives it the impression that it is exempt from the same standards that apply to everyone else? However, this principle appears not to apply to certain non state actors, conspiratorial groups, and organisations that have repeatedly been accused of creating social and political discord. The RSS often presents itself differently depending on the circumstances, adapting its identity and narrative to suit its convenience, much like a chameleon changing its colours to fit its surroundings.
