A Bengaluru court has taken cognizance of a private criminal defamation complaint against Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge and Congress leader Mohammed Harris Nalapad over alleged remarks against the RSS. The court has ordered the case to be registered and issued summons directing both leaders to appear on July 21, 2026. Akshara D M shares more details with Heena Gambhir.

RSS, an unregistered organisation is permitted to receive funds from approximately 2000 organisations domestically and internationally. They seemingly have been lobbying in USA for funds for the purpose of nation building. How are they getting money to function as an organisation? Priyank Kharge’s intolerance towards the RSS has sunk to a new low, he has gone to the extent of ordering the removal of saffron flags that were lawfully tied for the RSS Pathasanchalan with due permission and payment made through DD. This is nothing short of an undeclared emergency in Karnataka against the RSS and its dedicated karyakartas. Despite official permission, municipal officers are being pressurised to take down the saffron flags and buntings. But let it be clear the more you try to suppress us, the stronger and more united we become.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge says that the Quran states if a poisonous snake comes while offering Namaz, kill it first and that RSS/BJP are like such snakes and should be finished. I don’t understand one thing Why do Pakistan and Congress always seem to use the same kind of language?
