I work with one of the POS companies in Nigeria. I solve transaction issues for POS operators and I can confidently tell you that this guy is talking trash.

This is a first class lie. No POS scans your card for CVV or ATM card number. POS machines only scan the black stripe to initiate transactions that has been inputted on the POS machine. This can only happen if the POS OPERATOR has a phone scanner on or other scanning devices on

Dust . Nah all POS machine dey get scan? Let him tell us one brand. My own is you don't use POS everywhere. Get a specific trusted one and its cool. Nah avoiding charges dey put some people for trouble. Looking for extremely cheap charges and them go later see shege

What is he saying? Scanner at the back of pos terminal, everything he shared is not clear, has he caught any of this pos people with this act he alleged, if yes let him share with us..... How will a pos person leave a machine to a customer, what about the pos attendance safety

Honestly I’ve heard this a couple of times but as a pos attendant for 3 years running I can confidently say that pos machines don’t scan cards but to be safe have one customer. Mr soldier be careful what you post online don’t ruin peoples business due to lack of proper knowledge.

What do you mean that you can not track person, every transaction has a server and series number, every Pos is link to an account .when you get the account the details of the account will show and the particular POS will be block

I am a POS operator by hustling…….. This officer is just trying to mislead the entire populace, there’s nothing like dat. D excess of the scanner is people whose card terminal has spoiled and it serves as alternative to them. Meanwhile not all cards are accessible to d scanner.
