Proverbs 3.5 When David went to face the giant Goliath, he was just a simple shepherd who came to bring provisions to his brothers at the front. The entire army was terrified before Goliath: “At the sight of this man, all the soldiers of Israel fled in terror.” (1 Samuel 17:24) While a simple shepherd had no chance of defeating this giant accustomed to fighting, David put his trust in God: "David answered: -You go against me with sword, spear and javelin, and I I will march against you in the name of the LORD." (1 Samuel 17:45) David defeated Goliath. If he had trusted his own intelligence, he would never have gone to fight this giant, but he put his trust in God and won. Like David, who later became a great king, let us put everything in the hands of the Lord and trust in Him. Psalms 37:5: Commit your life to the Lord, trust in him and he will act.
