The key point here is that Amorim is upset because what he saw today from the team is what he expected from them in previous games. Not that he is shocked, but he knew they were capable, but it was their application that was lacking. Not tactics, not the technical ability of a player, but just the effort, the application, and the desire.

@_Utdbaki This is the most annoyed I have seen him, u can tell how much it bothers him that these players have it in them to press and run like demons but wont unless its a top opponent. Wonder how many times hes asked them to play with aggression and they wont do it until its Liverpool

@_Utdbaki The highlight of this game for me was Amorim subbing De Ligt for Yoro and Yoro having to make that crucial tackle. De Ligt won’t have taken the risk cuz he was on a yellow card. Very important decision from the coach and I respect it.
