Rubik's cube and graph theory.

I’ve seen this many times, and neither graphic adds value to my ability to fail at solving the cube.

Mapping the cube states to a graph really shows how massive that configuration space actually is.

Graph theory can also be applied to solving Sudoku puzzles.

This visualization obscures the fact that there are two kinds of "units"; pairs of surfaces that correspond to edges, and trios to corners. You could spot a trio of small circles that move always in group, but you have to be very careful.

So, you mean the trifoil thing is related to a Rubik's Cube!?

So to speak ...... Rubik's Ring?

I'm going to watch this and pretend I now understand it better.

Use the spatial spiral Rubik's cube and place one object randomly what will happen? only with 18-20 x spins

I made some interesting discoveries based off this sucker

Borromean spheres. Literally solving the 3 Body right in front of your eyes. Orthogonal shear which is somehow blind to orthodoxy.

It's like tumblers on a lock!

Wait... this seems to help people understand the 4D Rubik's Cube?

Ok and....

Give it a try!

While this visualization masterfully maps the Rubik's Cube group structure into a symmetric graph of state nodes and transition edges, wandering through this network via random moves brings us face-to-face with Pólya's Recurrence Theorem!

CARALHOOOOOOOO

Heya @meowludo Great visual here

@grok explain it

Be careful…..

impressive

this shows me better how to solve one better than any human has ever demonstrated ngl

Okay now do a Rubik's Dodecahedron

Impressive..

ii think this made rubiiks cubes Less comprehensible to me somehow

is that supposed to make it easier or am I meant to think in 5D?
