Rubio won’t call Putin a war criminal and don’t expect him to say a word about Netanyahu either. Some war crimes just get a pass, apparently.

He can only fail if he wanted to and didnt. But he never wanted to call Putin a war criminal. Thats a small but subtle difference.

No surprise. Rubio thoroughly trashed any remaining vestiges of integrity with the waffling tap-dance he performed in Congress.

He's in the business of being a diplomat. Calling Putin a war criminal would cause all sorts of problems. I bet he thinks he's a war criminal though.
