The 14A was written so that people who had NO OTHER country to return to have the right for their children to be born as US citizens. That means that people in the US who have applied for and granted a LEGAL right to reside and work in the USA can then MAKE A LIFE FOR THEMSELVES here in the USA - part of that is HAVING CHILDREN.

No I believe the citizenship they're trying to disallow is for children born to parents who are in the US either illegally or temporarily. I'm sure at the time of his birth either one or both of his parents were permanent residents (neither of which temporary nor illegal).

No, it's not complicated. If you're a permanent resident, or a citizen, your child becomes a citizen.

It is not about those that got the Title of US Citizenship already; but that is a legacy way of how US Citizenship is given; but is 14th Amendment compatible. His Father is not contesting his Birthright Citizenship and he thinks that Title to him is a proper Title; there is no issue here.
