Vladdy…. Maybe the only player to level his swing out to the point where he can’t hit the ball deep with height and power anymore. He hit a ball 117 MPH right at Arozerena the other day. One of the hardest hit balls ever and he has 8 HRs total this year ( 0 at home!) A top 10 guy for power and bat speed but he either pops it up or hits It really hard but right at the defence. I think they over coached him and ruined his swagger, I hope they just let him be him, his dad swung at everything, no one would ever coach you to hit like his dad did, Vladdy doesn’t need a hitting coach, he knows how to hit, his dad was the best bad pitch hitter ever probably, Vladdy Jr needs to be told to just be himself and his swing will come back, he’s been coached to level his swing instead of just hitting it. Great advise for most, but he’s a guy who needs to be left to just hit. No coach needed. His dad is a HOFer, Vladdy Jr. is just as good, let him be him, stop trying to fix his swing.

I said this a few outings ago. Scherzer should never step on a mound again. I know, big career and whatever but he can’t be in your starting rotation if you are looking for a playoff spot, last outing was just a fluke.
