Few moments later

Nature's way of telling you you have voltage. So go inside before you have amperage.

Scary. I hope everyone in the video is ok.

Video ended too soon.

Wow! I never knew and I'm in my 30s! I was always told to never swim in a storm, or stand under a lone tree. But I never knew the air got charged like that. How scary but also a good, obvious warning sign. Unless your bald I guess...

Aside from the obvious "seek shelter immediately" advice, here's what the CDC says you are supposed to do if the air around you becomes charged like this.

The algorithm stay algorithming.

Guys this is an easy out. When something like this happens...grab a piece of metal. Hold it and when you see the lightning coming, throw the metal object into the air. The lightning will hit that instead of you. This will work every time. Trust me.

An electric charge builds up as part of a "positive lightning strike." The charge is what makes your hair stand up. You may not think you're in trouble if the storm looks to be off in the distance. But that electric charge is a sure sign that you should get inside immediately.

Omg, they're Vietnamese. They were laughing and saying "This yatch has something super interesting. Everyone, our hair standing up makes us look like Goddesses, hahaha." FYI, if your hair stands up like this, it's a sign of a lightning strike about to happen! Run, find cover!
