I put in more than 20 very wet kilometers today, through the worst rain I have experienced on this trip so far. I am incredibly grateful to M-TAC for their poncho. It kept both me and my gear dry through hours of heavy rain, without making it difficult to keep moving. When you are carrying everything you need on your back, knowing it is protected makes a huge difference. I have used this poncho throughout my journey, but today was the real test and it absolutely held up. I am on an early train from London to Grimsby for a morning meeting. I have been contacted by residents who I supported when I was an MP, regarding a battery storage fascility at Heath Common. They have asked me again for my support. I am fighting against these BESS facilities in Lincolnshire, there have been three incidents this year where they have set on fire. There are major safety concerns with battery storage. I am standing against this in Lincolnshire, and I urge the council in Wakefield to also listen to residents and reject these proposals. Safety first is paramount across our country.

I know it's just one play, but I see too much of this on Kenneth Walker's tape. To kick ass in this scheme you have to have an instinctive feel for where to go, but you also have to have vision. This is an example of Walker lacking that. MASSIVE lane that's sliding to this left, and yet he appears to almost run directly into the one clump of defenders instead of just taking it north/south and hitting it as hard as he can. The creator on this piece of footage (shoutout to Saturday Morning Inspection) says "good finish, good run" and yet it could/should have been SO much more. A 5 yard run could have been 10 yards, 15, or much more. He's not a Seahawks in 2026. Period.

I never understood why these aren’t more common in the states. In other countries I’ve been to they are more common or the standard. I feel the cut back on toilet paper and they really do leave you with a fresh out of the shower feeling, it’s a win win. While this woman’s reaction can be quite common, after the initial shock of how it works, most people actually enjoy it. It can be life changing for some and they never go back to toilet paper. I think anyone who has never tried one of these, should try it. I feel the benefits of them outweigh the cost. Most of the time retrofit kits are also available for more toilets as well. I remember the first time I ever used one as well, my first experience wasn’t as nice because the water was cold, but it has since been much better.

We were up by 3 points in the 4th quarter and they drove down on like a 15-play drive. I remember being man to man on Travis Kelce on that third down before they kicked the field goal.
