The difference between hoarding and preparation is the heart behind it. One is driven by fear, but the other is driven by the gospel principle of provident living. When we plan and store with purpose, we replace panic with peace. Being prepared allows us to be wise stewards who can care for our own families and still have enough to reach out and help a neighbor in need.
Our bodies are our temples. The home in which the our soul/spirit resides. It is first and foremost our temple/body that we must cleanse, nourish - yet not "hoard," tidy our thoughts and minds, dress respectfully with dignity. Apply the above to your body first...
