So to summarise this joke of a “protest”: Instead of communicating something that actually makes sense like changing the SDs or demanding experienced signings, we got: 1-Chelsea fans chanting against Tottenham 2-Johnny Minerals style graphics as banners 3-Anti-Boehly chants and banners when Todd hasn’t really been involved in years 4- Chanting about the Vivid Tickets conspiracy theory 5- Content creators running around pushing people to say stupid shit and taking videos for their vlog later tonight Great jobs lads! More noise than you’ve made at the Bridge in years! 😂

One girl rings nearby Irish lads they show up in seconds, chase the nonce off, and send him running like the coward he is. 🇰🇷🆕 | There has been an uproar today of some comments caught on hot mic allegedly made by Korean media while the KNT was jogging, belittling Son Heung-min and the KNT because they haven’t gone to the army. Comments were initially aimed at Son Heung-min when an unspecified individual commented, “Is he running around like some platoon commander because he’s the captain?” “He’s running like he’s in the army” “These boys haven’t even been to the army” “These bastards don’t know the first thing about the military” Fans are calling for clarification as to who made these comments, calling them inappropriate and disrespectful coming from journalists. 😤 Listening to these comments myself, they sound incredibly haughty and arrogant. Really nice visual on what a week should cover from a strength, power & speed POV. Sprint every week, maybe twice. One massive issue in Gaelic Games now is too much weightlifting and bodybuilding. So you have lads walking around 5-8kg above the weight their top speed is and it also limits the amount of repeat runs they can make. This issue is about to explode into an even greater one. Mindless when play a sport (Gaelic Football) that next year could ask in some players 15-30% more running than last season!! We are heading for an injury epidemic like no other if teams don’t prepare properly going forward. Some of the stuff I’m hearing from Senior Club and Inter County teams around the country already is mind bending stupidity. One leading “manager” (in inverted commas ‘cos hardly deserves the title) has completely ignored the protests of the S&C Coach in the demands of training and running said manager wants to do. Supposedly the highest level of the game. Paid professional ignored. Don’t think this isn’t common. We have to get to the needed KM’s, sprints, High speed runs and all that. But if we do it overweight and too fast we are absolutely going to break down. It’s physics folks, and some of these geniuses don’t believe in it. Credit: Hansen Athletics

Bailey Rice v Queens Park Subbed off at Half-Time on Sunday & seen lots of negative comments: - Given Chance & Failed - Didn't Look Interested - Jogging About the Park We need to accept this is a system that isn't designed to get the best out of any player, never mind a young player. He followed Clements Style to the letter of the law: - Stay Behind Lines - Leave CBs on the Ball - Compete for 2nd Balls Rice had 47 Touches, 100% Progressive Passes & 5 Successful Passes into the Final Third in his 45mins & subbing him felt panicked and reactive whilst it could also send horrible signals to him. Raskin & Diomande have been given the same role & it doesn't suit any one of them and it actually relies heavily on athleticism of both whilst running 14km This is precisely why I continue to give players a break in the system because they are literally asked to just create moments out of nothing! Need to honestly give younger lads a real break!

"Carrick called me for my opinion on him, I told him he can be added as a squad player... the season will be long. we need more versatile midfielders... "He’s got that energy and physicality that can cover a lot of ground in the middle of the park. "Technically he’s clean on the ball and doesn’t shy away from the dirty work either. "At this level you need players who can come in and do a job without needing six months to settle. "I can see him rotating with the main lads and giving the team a different option when legs get tired. "United have been light in that area for a while, so bringing someone like him in makes sense. "If the deal gets done he’ll be a useful addition rather than a headline signing, and sometimes those are the ones that help you through a campaign. I've been playing out the macro endgame through my head for the last 5-10 years. Days on end, running different simulations and thinking through what the long term equilibrium(s) would be. It started becoming clear to me that it all would come down to the weakening of the US Dollar. At some point the money printing would actually be unsustainable for the rest of the world. However!! I fully expected that this *special* reserve privilage of the dollar would chip away when the rest of the world got truly fed up with getting pieces of printed paper in return for their real scarce resources and labour. Little did I know that in 2025 there would come along a 'Chief Economic Advisor' that would through sheer incompetence start advocating for policy that would just seek to voluntarily give away this magic privilege. It was truly a pleasure to host the legend Ben Ben Hunt Hunt on Steady Lads in this new episode, as we chopped up the downsides but also the incredible upside of 'Pax Americana'. If anyone from the administration is listening, less Stephen Miran and moar Ben Hunt please. For the sake of all our famiglias. Full episode in the reply.

I am very sad to hear of Natalie Fleet’s resignation. It takes a great deal of courage and dedication to serve in public office, especially in a role like that, and she deserves respect for doing it. I’ve always had a lot of time for Natalie, and for her lads as well. She actually gave me a bit of comfort a while back, if I’m honest. She called me “mush” publicly on here, or on TikTok. I can’t remember exactly which platform it was now, as it was a while ago. At the time, I viewed it as a bit of a political point scoring moment for myself and thought it gave me an opportunity to hit one back by suggesting that an elected Member of Parliament was being unprofessional. Looking back though, I think I was the one who got that wrong. The more I’ve thought about it since, the more it has meant something to me. There aren’t many people in politics who use the kind of vocabulary I grew up with. It made me smile and reminded me of the estate I grew up on in Newark. I’d never spoken to any of her lads before, and then one day I got a video through on Snapchat from some random lad. I was genuinely about to block him, to be honest! Anyway, I decided to open the chat, and it turned out to be a video message from Natalie, a bit like the Cameo-style videos that I sometimes do for people. It really made me smile and laugh. That was the first and only time I’ve spoken to one of her lads, and I haven’t spoken to any of them since. It was on the day of the Gorton and Denton by-election back in February. I hope you don’t mind me sharing this Natalie, but I still find it funny now. It’s a reminder that there are still some very normal people involved in politics. (Nigel Farage certainly isn’t one of them! 😂) Feel free to watch the video below. I wish Natalie nothing but the very best for the future. Maybe one day I’ll pay a visit to Shirebrook to pick up some new running gear from Sports Direct. If I do, I’ll definitely pop into the constituency office and thank her again in person. One final thing I’d add is that I think we should normalise elected Members of Parliament being more approachable and communicating in a more natural, authentic way. Politics doesn’t always have to be suited and booted. Sometimes it’s okay to speak to people like normal human beings. In my view, that helps break down barriers, makes politics feel more accessible, and reminds people that those in public office are people too. Natalie Fleet MP
