Diana Buttu tells Drop Site that leaked footage of Sde Teiman only came about because the Israeli doctor didn’t believe Israelis would do something so severe, and reported it thinking Palestinian captives had assaulted each other. She added that the Military Advocate General, Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, only leaked the footage to explain to the Israeli public why a prosecution of the Israeli perpetrators was necessary. This did not stop the ‘Right to Rape Riots’ that took place in Israel.
