Yesterday, I stumbled upon one of the most engrossing threads I’ve seen in a while, one from Supercomposite, a musician and now, instantly infamous AI art generator who appeared to have conjured a demon from the digital realm. A demon named Loab. The viral thread currently making the rounds on Twitter, and no doubt headed to Instagram and TikTok soon, is Supercomposite describing how they were messing around with negative prompt weights in AI art generators, though I’m not precisely sure which program was being used in this instance. The saga of Loab started with an image created with the prompt “Brando::-1” where Supercomposite was attempting to make something that was the opposite of Marlon Brando. A negative prompt is where the AI will try to make something as far away from the prompt as possible. That created a weird looking little logo, and the experiment became would the opposite of that production be…Marlon Brando, in turn. So the prompt “DIGITA PNTICS skyline logo::-1” was used. The rest of the thread goes into how Loab, which Supercomposite has named this woman with red cheeks and decaying eyes, appeared in the negative prompt “vacuum,” and when she was used to create further images, the AI found the need to produce increasingly violent and disturbing images featuring Loab.

Been using Grok Build these past few days, and the thing that really got me hooked is Imagine and Imagine Video. I built a full dinosaur encyclopedia site — every image, every video clip on it, all generated by Grok itself. One prompt: "build a dinosaur encyclopedia site, generate matching images and videos, add them in" — visuals, video, copy, layout, the whole thing done in one flow. No jumping between a dozen tools. Testing the next feature coming from Runway and it’s wild. You’ll soon be able to create just by chatting. One of the most impressive things I’ve seen is that it can now do stuff that even ChatGPT can’t. In this test, I asked it to add fur to objects that normally don’t have any...and boom, it generated a whole series of fuzzy creations. Then I gave it a character reference and asked for him to be playing the piano. It made mistakes at first, but kept correcting itself until it nailed the shot. Finally, I asked for a video based on the image... and it delivered again. The ability to iterate and evolve your vision in real-time is just incredible. Still makes mistakes and it can be much improved, but a massive shoutout to the team at Runway , this is next level.

We put it head to head with Kling AI and Flow by Google VEO using the same reference images and prompts (below) to evaluate motion quality, stability, and cinematic realism. 1.
