Iconic series and that battle soundtrack was top tier!! Remake could never touch these levels & emotions

Seriously kids this is what I call an epic samurai anime looking at you demon slayer. Yes it’s older and not as flashy but rurouni kenshin is a one of a kind series.

Kenshin 90s tv series Kyoto arc is brutal. haha, only the BGM is ten times better than the 2023 remake.

Every time Kenshin delivers one of these blows, I always think “if that were a REAL blade”, this match would be OVER!!!!

Timeless masterpiece. A real shame the remake pales in comparison, especially the soundtrack.

This is epic, but I swear, when the Battousai wanted you dead during Trust and Betrayal OVA, I love the sad music that would kick in. B/c Hitokiri knew there was about to be 30 dead people in 30 seconds and it was absolutely effortless. The music lamented his own power.

I love how realist and absurd this anime is. Kenshin is so fast that creates a vacuum that drag his opponent.
