Rush in 1975 😮‍💨🤘🏻

Look at Peart's drum set back in "75

1975 is such a specific moment for this band. Peart had only just joined and you can hear them figuring out what they were about to become. Caress of Steel came out this year and everyone slept on it. The whole thing clicked right after

So weird seeing Neil playing such a tiny kit.

I love it!! Proves how badass he was on a basic set

Incredibly talented band. Peart is probably the greatest rock drummer, Geddy is in the team photo of bassists and that just scratches the surface of his contribution. Alex is amongst the most underrated guitarists.

😍😍😍

KICK ASS !🤘🏼🎶❤️ I LOVE early RUSH !!!

I saw them on the Caress of Steel tour that year backing up Ted Nugent

This album was released on my 14th birthday. I can still remember removing the cellophane, pulling the vinyl out of the paper sleeve and dropping in on the turntable. The first notes of "Anthem", (side one, track one) screaming through my speakers as the needle made contact. Yes!

Great clip!

Fkn Rock Gods, Are back !

I think this is when they were on tour with Kiss.

I saw them do that live at the Michigan Palace in Detroit, twice! December 1974 with Kiss and then headlining in April 1975. ( With Status Quo) I swear the building was shaking! Small crowd I recall.

Timeless To Say The Least !!!

First saw them at Fremd High School in Illinois. They were the back-up band for Kiss. My first concert.

I like it when the next tweet describes the one above it.

🎶❤️🎶

They were best before they sold out to mainstream music industry.

Kinda giving Sabbath vibes a bit here

❤️🔥🎶

Awesome song, incredible performance 🤘🤘

The glorious 70s.

@Mikehomeseller It looks like Neil is a grown man playing on a child’s toy drum kit lol

Rush had very good timing between the members, but that was about it. We could not figure out the words or what they were singing back in the day in 76. BIG DEAL...

Saw them on their 2112 Tour Friggin Awesome Right on the fence right in the middle Got a 👍🏻 from Geddy for knowing all the words 😆 He’s was flanked by BaBes 😳😂

@txsinatrafan

Even then they were geniuses. I was 2yo

You can't mistake that voice.

@adam_ahlin

🇨🇦🎶🎵😎

I understand why this band would not fit your taste. But the level of musicality is unreal. They weren’t just making pop songs for radio. They were making complex and brilliant music. Geddy, Neil and Alex created real music. Rush was an incredible band

POW!

Look at Neil. Its hard to NOT believe is was one of the top 3 best drummers ever, but Im biased

Fckd video cut-off at end. Do better!
