Rush with Stewart Copeland

Copeland is the most underrated yet badass drummer in history. He could play with anyone and you’d not tell much difference. But you couldn’t replace him with nearly anyone else and hear The Police the same. One of one.

When I heard Rush was going back out on tour, my first thought was bringing Stewart on board

One of the rare times I’ve seen Copeland concentrating. I think he enjoyed it

I mean, the entire song is Neil trying to play like Stewart, so this is awesome.

Stewart was rushing! Boy got excited.

It’s funny because it sounds like the perfect combination of Rush and the Police.

The joy that they are feeling!!! Just locked in and having fun, Oh, to be at that level!

Would’ve been Epic if Copeland toured with them.

When Stewart started off not even playing the high hat right at the beginning of the song, I was already disappointed

Stewart was amazing on this track. I was a SC fan before i was a Rush fan....this was the perfect amalgamation of The Police and Rush!

Stewart is a great drummer, but he’s butchering the shit out of this song.

Stewart came in wrong then rushed it in True Copeland improvisation style. Perts drumming is more calculated and flawlessly steady.

This is mid...both Stewart and Carey did not prepare as well as the other drummers (Chad Smith and Gavin Harrison). The later 2 actually crushed their performances.

I would actually go see rush if copeland was playing with them

If I wanted to see the drum parts of a Rush song stepped all over, last person I’d expect to do it is Stewart Copeland. 😝
