They aim to create a humanitarian catastrophe in Ukrainian cities. Putin wants to use the cold as a weapon. What Kashin describes is essentially genocide of the civilian population. "Flint", commander of CODE 9.2, shared that there was a steady stream of Russian logistics and personnel going through the Chonhar bridge. So, a decision was made to strike the bridge with drones (since Ukraine has them in larger numbers than missiles). Prior to that, Russian air defense systems in the area were destroyed/damaged ("They f*cked up the Pansirs, drones are flying like they own the place," intercepted Russian conversations say), then, a precise strike was launched on the Chonhar bridge.
