I agree with this statement, it is logical and correct, I would only add that this war in Ukraine has opened up to an iron-clad alliance with China, and when we talk about defeating Russia, it is no longer just about Russia, this alliance has now become fundamental for the security of both countries.

Anything other than above from legacy media is purely gaslighting. Even the upcoming President of US be it "Trump or Harris" knows that Donbas and Crimea belong to Russia. Now will Zelensky lay down his arrogance and talk peace deal with Russia? He is not winning the war. Ukraine is running out of money and resources. Ukraine will never get NATO membership. Citizens are refusing to fight a war for Zelensky. Time for NATO & Zelensky to face the truth.

As I understand, Sevastopol has been an imperative warm water port for Russia’s fleet for many years which has de facto been managed by them and is a red line that everyone surely understands.

Did Russian Propaganda Just Glitch? It’s rare to see Russia crack, their propaganda machine is usually cold and disciplined. But this comment floored me. I watched Russia slaughter over 25,000+ civilians in Mariupol, mostly Russian-speaking including women & children. Those being conservative figures. And yet Lavrov claims: ‘Russia never aimed to seize Crimea, Donbas or Novorossiya. The goal was only to safeguard the Russian people.’ All while they deliberately target civilians on an epic scale still, in predominantly Russian speaking areas. Lies on camera. Is he trying to justify atrocities, or distance himself from War Criminal Putin?
