❗️An interesting video is coming from Kupyansk, published by the Telegram channel of the Russian Armed Forces’ operational group West: Units of the 6th Army, Group of Forces West, continue clearing the southern outskirts of Kupyansk from Kiev fighters hiding in abandoned houses. During a planned sweep, another fighter from the 15th National Guard brigade surrendered. When Russian assault troops approached the house where he was hiding, the Kiev fighter walked out on his own. After days without food or water, he could barely speak. And yes, there are many like him. Most say they are forced to hold their positions, and once evacuation becomes impossible, they are simply forgotten. After a brief firefight, the vehicles tried to retreat in the opposite direction. 🔸Obviously, this material was prepared for a loud information campaign, namely the alleged transfer of Dnepropetrovsk oblast under Kiev forces control. This planned information stunt was supposed to finally prove that the heavy losses of Kiev forces assault units were worth something. The footage, which had been sitting around for more than two weeks, suddenly became very convenient. The ice on the lake clearly shows how “current” these scenes really are. 🔸For our part, we can say that after expending their ammunition load, the Kiev forces vehicles turned around and attempted to withdraw, but were detected and destroyed by Lancet drone crews from the Guards reconnaissance units of group East. It strongly looks like Jolani has lost control over his forces - the HTS units may abide his orders but the majority of the Syrian government forces do not. Needless to say: these forces have been recruited from units of the Turkish led SNA - this is something that the Turkish government pressured Jolani to do. Now it is those forces that are threatening the peace in Syria - something we have warned of repeatedly, but as we are Kurds, our voices are not being heard.

This is bringing the war home to the very cynical Russian people who don't care about killing Ukrainians. Bringing the war home to Russians creates real pressure on Putin and his government to justify the war. And so the less justification they have, the less sacrifice Russians are going to want to make. And so, at some point, this wave of indignation in Russia may become unbearable for Putin.
