I think Margarita Simonyan should really talk to Russian-speaking residents of Kharkiv about their love for Russia, as well as residents of other cities that Russia keeps striking and calls that "liberation". Where Simonyan is right is that for Russia, Ukraine is a territory, a buffer zone. Their dream is to turn Ukraine into scorched empty land. That will not happen. Ukrainian people will not let that happen.

The only problem: that’s not how the UN defines ethnicity. Otherwise: — Austrians would automatically be Germans; — Irish people would be English; — all Latin Americans would be Spanish. Yes, many people in Ukraine speak Russian. That does not make them “Russian people.” And no — it’s definitely not 71%.

Propagandists also discussed targets for their "precision strikes," suggesting targeting Ukrainian Parliament and President. According to Solovyev, they can do that because Russia "doesn't need the world's sympathy at all." Comment from me: Russia has damaged hundreds of objects in Kyiv and killed a lot of civilians. (This video is about a week old).

His message may have been targeted at Russians to try and overthrow Putin, but his words speak to us all. America and Russia are not that different. And 99% of people all around the world all want the same things.

CTV is now using Carney talking points to open their reports. It’s pretty bad when I don’t trust even what Stats Canada is putting out anymore. Everything in Canada so far has been a lie and listening to this propaganda it feels like more of it. The constant messaging that everything is great while clearly what we are seeing with our own eyes is not is called gaslighting.
