The most heartbreaking part is that they feel disgust, sometimes even hatred, towards themselves for wanting this. Yet no matter how much they rationalise, a part of them will always long for it. And it is okay to want this. It does not make them weak or pathetic. The polarity must be felt in full, and then accepted in its entirety, on both ends. The greatest wars are not fought between angels and demons, but in the hearts of those who carry the deepest wounds.

Those Russians who abandoned their homeland after 2022 miscalculated. Ukraine lost. The only question now is by how much. They left not out of their love for the West, they left out of convenience. And that's not something you can build a life on. It's funny to watch their horror now - they can't return, but no one needs them there either. While we live normally, in our own land. As I say, a miscalculation.

Some in the mainstream media argue that their publications are objective because they sometimes criticise the ANC and the President, as if the ANC and the President don't also criticise their own party. The issue here is that they criticise because they are rooting for it to win, and so they would like us to believe their criticism makes them neutral. While they criticise the party for not succeeding, they have shown themselves to have zero critical thinking when it comes to the assumptions on which the party is built.

In this video, a UK Indian restaurant owner and his partner are standing up against people who are pressurizing them to change their menu. They clearly state that they do not sell Halal food and they will not be forced to switch to it just because of pressure. The owners show damage to their shop and mention that this is the third attack in the last two weeks, where people have pelted their shop with eggs. The owner is very angry and says that no matter how much they are bullied or harassed, he will continue to sell non-Halal food. They claim that these attackers are trying to provoke them, but they won't be intimidated and will keep running their business their own way.

The Nigerian government is sending people in Lagos back to their State of Origin. Let that sink in. They are dividing their own people, treating them as foreigners within their own country. This is not a policy of unity, it is a policy of exclusion. It is a testament to the deep-seated tribalism that has plagued Nigeria since independence. The Igbo, the Hausa, the Yoruba they cannot live together. They don’t trust each other, they don’t love each other. They cannot build a nation. This is why Nigeria will never be great, despite its immense potential. They have resources. They have the people. But they are divided by tribe, by religion, by region. They hate each other within their own country, and they refuse to confront this hatred. They would rather send people back to their "State of Origin" than build a nation where everyone belongs.
