Remember all the “Bakhmut holds” posts Zelensky’s worshippers were making on X? This is Bakhmut now. Yes, it’s in ruins, but it’s in Russian hands. It might take another year or two, but the entire Donbass region will eventually end up in Russian hands. Sure, Zelensky can intensify conscription in Ukraine to send more men to defend the remaining cities, but Russia will simply raze everything to the ground and take control of the ruins. All the men Zelensky sacrifices are dying in vain.

But if the West’s real goal is to annihilate Russia as a notion, then their motivation is obvious. It was never about what is good for people. People have already spoken. Schoolkids in Russia are taught that Stalin didn't order the mass repressions of 1937-1938 in the USSR. It wasn't Stalin, it was Yezhov, kids are told. Will the same happen with Putin? Will Russians be told it wasn't him who started the war, who killed millions of people, it was someone else! Stalin's repressions killed from 3 to 20 million people, by different estimates. The exact number will likely never be known. But less than a century later, Russia worships him - monuments to Stalin have been opened in several Russian cities, and textbooks praise Stalin. This is modern day Russia. This is the threat the West faces. It must be taken very seriously.

Russia's army is turning the captured territories of Ukraine into uninhabitable ruins, and the population left there hates Russia for what it is doing to them. ◾️ Donetsk is without water, and it is getting worse and worse. All the ponds have been drained, and all that is left is silt. ◾️ Water is available for two hours every other day, sometimes two hours every two days. The water itself is of terrible quality. In 2009, the Donbas Arena was opened in Donetsk. It is the first elite category (5-star) stadium in Eastern Europe. Beyoncé performed there at the opening. Rihanna performed there in 2011. In 2012, Donetsk hosted Euro-2012. UEFA recognized Donetsk stadium as the best during the tournament. And then the "Russian world" came to the "City of a Million Roses."
