A Chinese guy who paid 297,000 yuan (US$43,900) for a phone back in 2015 now regrets it, and went viral after posting about it on Douyin. The luxury smartphone in question is a Vertu Signature, covered in alligator leather and white diamonds, with a sapphire crystal screen, ruby keys, and a 24-hour personal concierge service included. But the problem is that the phone only supports 2G and is now non-functional as a phone in mainland China. It’s basically become a very pricey paperweight. Like he said, if he’d put that 297,000 yuan into gold back then, it would be worth five times as much today (当年这29万7买成黄金，翻五倍). Others commented that 297,000 yuan might have been enough to buy a house back then. The comment section is entertaining, with at least one person also posting an image of their own paperweight Vertu, and another commenter replying: “That’s nothing. My cousin lost a kidney over an iPhone 4S, and it even made the news.” (Which could very well be true. Excellent Breakdown Of The Mysterious “Suicide” Of The Hero Police Officer Who Saved 4 Lives During Oklahoma City Bombing Right before he ‘Committed Suicide’ he said, “They're not telling the truth about what's going on down there” “One year after the Oklahoma City bombings, this officer who saved four lives was found unalived under very strange circumstances. On April 19th, 1995, Sergeant Terrence Yeakey responded to calls that a bomb had gone off in the Murroff Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City. Sergeant Yakey was the first person to respond that day and was able to save four people before the second floor collapsed and he injured his back so severely he wasn't able to continue. An hour and a half later, police arrested Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, who were anti-government extremists. A year after the bombing, Sergeant Yakey and 90 other officers were selected to receive the city's medal of valor, but just three days before the ceremony, he was found unalived in a field near his hometown of El Reno, Oklahoma. Umm, No. (Long one here with a transcript and my comments in ( ). Work today so I was a little limited with this stuff. Looking forward to the Davis interview tomorrow!) In 2025, Rep. Eric Burlison spent "almost the entire day" with the White House staff as they negotiated various aspects of the Big Beautiful Bill. While he was there, he requested help with the UFO topic because the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets kept getting blocked and struggled to get access to certain information and locations. So, he asked for a White House-level briefing, "the same briefing the President... If you're taking the request, that's my highest request." (He didn't say if he ever received that briefing.) Burlison: "Furthermore, I would like to be able to have a green light to go visit some of these locations. And the gentleman that I was asking kind of smirked. And I said, 'Is this comical to you? I mean, do you think that I'm not a serious person?'" (I mean, funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? 😀 ) Burlison: "He said, 'No.' he goes. 'I just want to go with you.' And so, it turns out he did. He was able to go with me. He had to follow the proper channels as well. And we visited the first of many sites, hopefully. I'm gonna be cautious in talking about that because I don't want to jeopardize the ability to go to the remaining locations, if you will. I truly think that, for them, this was a test of whether or not this would become a circus for them. And so, I think that I'm just treading cautiously before I release too much information about what I've learned and where I went." (I understand not giving out the location to avoid a "circus" of UFO people trying to visit, but I don't see why he can't tell us what he learned right now. Hopefully, when all the visits are done, he can share the details with us.) James Fox: "Congressman, when you say you went to visit the site, are you implying that the alleged site that could, potentially, be housing non-human technology? Is that kind of what one is alleging here?" Burlison: "Yeah. Or, once did house non-human technology, right? Now, from my insights from Grusch and others, they had...it was pretty obvious that that first site that we were going to did not have active material, but, potentially, could have in the past. So what was important was to see the facilities and the structures, and to try to ascertain for A), first and foremost, did those facilities exist? And then were they designed in such a way that would have been, you know, one could easily see that that could have been utilized for reverse engineering." (Saying that a location/facility could have been utilized for reverse engineering craft not made by humans is not enough to make the waves we need to force the tidal wave of Disclosure. We need for Burlison (or someone else) to be able to visit a facility that has a craft there now, and folks working on it who are willing to speak about their experiences there. I don't see that happening any time soon.) Leslie Kean: "May I ask If the people at the site were cooperative and helpful for you?" Burlison: "Yes." Leslie Kean: "Or were they resistant to having you visit?" Burlison: "No, they were very cooperative. What I kind of interpreted from this is that a lot of what's happening today is that you have things that have happened in the past, and the people today, you know, you're talking about personnel that have changed over many times. And so, a lot of times they're not aware of the history of some of the things that you're talking about because that's not something that they're working on, currently. But they certainly were extremely helpful." (They were either not aware of the history or, they were, and lied about it. Can't rule that out. And the fact that they were helpful/cooperative doesn't really mean much. If you want to avoid unwanted attention, you put your best face on. Or, maybe they really were ignorant and wanted to do their best to help Burlison and the other folks? No way to know.) Burlison: "I had specifically wanted to meet with a particular individual that works at that location, and I actually expected them to turn me down, but was surprised that they actually arranged a meeting in a SCIF with the person that I requested. So, I do think that they're being cooperative." (Hopefully, when all of these locations have been visited, we get to learn this person's name. Full transparency, right?) Burlison: "And now that the President has [posted on Truth Social about UFOs], I think it gives everyone all the way down the line an understanding that this is to be taken seriously and to follow through." (We shall see.) Burlison: "On the way back after the visit, the White House staffer and the other person that had made it happen both said to me that they loved doing this. This was one of the funnest things they've ever done in their job, and that these other future site locations are not at all gonna be a burden to them. If anything, they're excited and looking forward to it." (Are we going to learn who those people are? Transparency? If not, why not? We pay their salaries.) James Fox: "I had a really quick follow-up question, Congressman. If you did find what you're looking for, is there a particular protocol, or what's the directive if you find what you're looking for?" Burlison: "If I find what I'm looking for, I'm gonna be very careful to protect any kind of national-security interest. But at the same time, I've been very clear that it is not the right of this country to withhold basic, fundamental evidence that we may or may not be alone. And so, if we have any kind of evidence of that, we should be telling the world and not holding back. And give as many details as possible, and release...be as transparent as possible without jeopardizing our secrets and national security. Or secrets that pertain...that our national security is dependent upon." (For now, keep the method of propulsion (energy source) secret and away from our adversaries and tell us everything else!) Burlison: "Well, I'm just gonna speculate, okay? If we have a type of technology that we have reverse engineered, that gives us a strategic advantage that our adversaries have not? I think that, for example, letting the world know that we have this craft, here it is, here's a photo of it, but you don't have to tell the world how exactly the...what you've reverse engineered, or how that operates." (Photos aren't going to cut it. If they exist, we need to see these craft (and bodies?) in person, with our own eyes. Put them in the Smithsonian and let us see all of it. And allow independent scientists to do their own analysis so we can verify that it's non-human or anomalous.) Burlison: "In the same way that when the nuclear bomb first was invented and utilized, the world knew, we revealed to the world that we have this capability, but we certainly are not gonna tell people how to make one and the specifics behind that. So, I think that for me, that's how I would answer that question. If you were asking me, 'What would you be willing to protect as far as national security?' That would be the nature of it. "Now, I think if the technology that's derived has nothing to do with changing our threat dynamic with an adversary, and it might benefit society and the world, by all means, let's release it. Let's let the world scientific minds utilize anything that we might have discovered. And so, that's where I personally stand." (But we all that it's not going to be that simple. Most likely (if this is all legit), we'll have craft and bodies, and the tech from the craft can give us an advantage over our adversaries, while at the same time, potentially, be used to change and improve the world and human condition. So what do we do? Keep it secret? Tell the world and take our chances?) Burlison: "I don't know, I couldn't tell you what Hillary meant by that." (EB was referring to the recent interview/deposition about Epstein where Hillary Clinton said that she would release UFO files but they would be "subject to any national security implications" and it should be done so that "no national security information is disclosed." She didn't get specific.) Burlison: "If we have evidence or if we have bodies, we should release that to the world. If we, you know, if what Eric Davis said to me - and now that was not in a hearing in which he had been sworn in, and I'm not saying that he was telling me a falsehood - when he said that there are four alien species - and that kind of went viral - I mean, if we, if we do have evidence of that, I want the world to know. I don't see why that would be of national security interest to withhold that from the world." (Unless, the people who have seen the bodies say something like, "Their skin is something that can be used as armor and we can't allow our adversaries to learn about that. Just trying to think of reasons why the gatekeepers will tell us that information needs to be kept secret.)

"We have lots more regulation now, but people spend their time figuring out how to get around the rules rather than follow the rules." That one sentence explains more about the current market than every CNBC segment combined. "Cash is trash" was the mentality. Nebraska farmers collapsed because of it. Entire communities wiped out not by a recession but by a BELIEF that the currency was dying. And Buffett sees that same energy building again. Then someone asked the question everyone wanted answered: Do you see a crash coming? "If you saw it coming, it wouldn't happen. The things people are talking about and thinking about? It's not going to happen. But there are things that can come out of the blue." BBC UNVACCINATED DOCUMENTARY - With all of the news that’s coming out regarding risks from the C O V I D V A X, I thought I would bring back my greatest achievement: Being one of the first people to warn the public about the risks and harms from the V A X on mainstream media, before it all came out. Now that the truth has come out (and they have very quietly banned them for under 50’s), people aren’t calling me crazy anymore. I am getting so many apologies, people are now coming to me for advice - and the death threats have stopped. I take pride in being brave enough to speak up about this on the BBC, knowing I could lose my job, family, and friends (which I did). I take pride in being the first and only person to mention the Pf-i-zer documents on the BBC. I’m proud of myself for calling out the 9 pages of adverse reactions which no one is allowed to talk about. I take pride in the numerous messages I receive daily, saying that I was the reason people didn’t get injected, or didn’t inject their children - and thanking me for possibly saving their lives. For changing their mindset, and for making them realise that the government lied to them. That the pharmaceutical industry do not have their best interests at heart. I knew that the documentary was a BBC setup, I knew that they would try to use it to brainwash the masses even more. But I also knew that it would fail massively if I took part in it, so I did. Everyone told me not to, that they’d edit everything I said to make me look stupid. But something told me it would be okay. And I think that was God speaking to me. The constant manipulation and silencing I experienced in that house had a massive affect on me, and I struggled to get through it - but it was something I knew I had to do, and I was able to turn my sadness into strength. A massive shout out to Vicky, who was in there with me and kept me strong. She is the only reason I was able to get through that week without losing my mind completely. You will never understand this, but it was the most difficult thing I’ve ever been through, I will talk more about what they did to me in a separate video. Thank you for all your support 💗

I hate the way modern movies are shot. Here's a scene from the 2024 Netflix movie Damsel, which I just watched last night. Notice how it's basically just two characters talking while looking directly at each other, filmed in a lazy shot/reverse shot fashion where one character will be filmed in a medium shot or close-up, then it will cut to a medium shot or close-up of the other character, and it just goes back and forth like that until they're done talking and one of them leaves. Notice how they have this interesting location where a lot could be going on, but one of the characters is just kind of fucking around, pretending to do something with the flowers until it's time for the other character to start talking to them, then when they're done talking, she just leaves instead of continuing whatever it was she was doing when the other character came in. It's like the scene was written with only dialog, and they didn't have anything in mind for the characters to be doing other than talking, so the director just told that one lady to fuck around with the flowers until the other actress made it to her mark so it wouldn't just start with her standing around. The context of this scene is one character is realizing the other character is hiding something sinister. Until this point, we don't know that the lady on the left is evil and is taking advantage of the lady on the right. The scene starts with Bad Lady up on the platform, which physically places her higher in the scene; a visually dominant position. But then Good Lady steps up onto the platform with her, visually putting them on equal footing, which contradicts the purpose of the scene. They could have had Good Lady looking up at Bad Lady from below, then at the critical moment, had Bad Lady lean over the rail while talking down to Good Lady, using her body language to convey a sense of power over her. I mean, that's not much, but it would have been something. Most of the talking scenes in this movie are shot this way. It's so bland that I wondered if they used the Volume, but then I found out they actually shot these scenes at real locations. They were given permission to film at these amazing locations, but barely utilized them to their visual storytelling potential.

And not only that, how they want emergency communication systems to be implemented, what specific groups they're gonna be targeting. The director of the Lake County Emergency Management Agency told me they've been preparing for the solar eclipse now for about two years. They've been preparing for this for two years. This is what he told me inside of Homeland Security yesterday They were talking about, he said during the solar eclipse, while people are all out there looking, they're planning the intel that they've got is a possible biological attack on people while the solar eclipse is freaking happening? Yes, I just said that. While the solar eclipse is happening and you're like, okay, well where are they gonna do that? Scottie Scheffler has made golf look easy over the last few years, but he’s clearly frustrated with his game this week: “I felt like I was going to shoot about 90 today. “I don't know if you were out there on the course, but I was going to be hard to find if you were out watching my group. I felt like I got my first birdie putt of the day on the 13th hole. I maybe had one on 11, but I couldn't imagine I hit more than six or seven greens today. So around this golf course, with heavy rough and deep bunkers, you got to be hitting the ball in the right spots and for a long time today that was definitely not the case for me.” Scottie was visibly frustrated yesterday at the Memorial and had a long, heated discussion with his caddie Ted Scott after dunking a ball into the water. After rallying with 3 birdies in his last 6 holes today for a level par 72, he currently sits T20 and he was asked how proud he was to comfortably make the cut after looking in danger earlier in the round: “I think I grind like that every day. I think that's just part of the game. That's maybe some of the worst I've hit it in a couple years out there and I still managed to shoot even par around a golf course that requires to you strike the ball really well. Yeah, I'm definitely very proud of stuff like that. “This tournament was one that definitely could have got away from me, but right now I'm only nine shots back and still have a chance going into the weekend. With the conditions the way they are, you never really know what's going to happen around this golf course and just getting inside the cut line you still have a chance.” Scottie is currently 10 shots back of leader J.T Poston. American Citizens Are Calling For Accountably Of Their Money Being Spent On Illegal Immigration Programs Illegal Immigrants Given Up To $9,000 Per Month For Housing Assistance 🚨 “Let's talk about the money that is being spent. I think that there needs to be a federal audit against the company that we have contracted out to take care of the migrants. We have nurses that are being paid $64,000 a month. We have security officers that are being paid as much as $24,000 a month. We have home health care workers that are being paid up to $17,000 a month. You don't think that Chicagoans could have benefited from that? We have citizens in this city that have been on the waiting list for affordable housing for years, and migrants have been bumped in front of them. We have people who have been given up to $9,000 a month for housing assistance. That amount of the city of Chicago. We are not am pro black. I am for my marginalized who have been expect us to give up our parks places in our community for others. We're not saying that there's not room here, but what we are saying is that we are not going to step aside for you to accommodate them when you have continued to leave us out of the equation. So I'm not just talking to Brandon Johnson right now. I'm talking to Governor Pritzker and I'm talking to President Biden and I want you to understand This upcoming political year where the Democratic Party is on the menu, hear me, people of Chicago, of Illinois and of the United States. It is time for us as black people to stop voting party. It is time for us to stop voting color. It is time for us to start voting our self-interest. And if the Democrats in the city of Chicago, the state of Illinois, and the country of USA refuses to listen to us, then it is time for us to start looking at other alternatives. We are looking at all the alternatives. We will not step aside and continue to be mistreated. We will not continue to be disrespected. I'm looking at people who are coming here from another country giving work visas, giving social security cards. Nobody is asking them what walk of life that they come from. "If you remember, all the way back, looking to Lazar, why did he get not called back for The Program? It was because they found out his wife was cheating on him and he became a security risk. So people that would break from the fold, that are feeling all that type of pressure and just try to burn the whole house down? POWER GHOST SEASON 4 FINALE 🍿 Yall idk … I get it … but idk … this was lowkey the happiest finale ever , & I think I’m not use to it. I feel like Power has turned me into a monster because I just be expecting the worst to happen and when it doesn’t , I be disappointed 😭 I’m use to being traumatized after a Power Finale . This one was “cute” lol I’m happy Noma & Carter got dealt with, & I knew Anya was leaving because that was the only way to make Noma feel how they felt , but I didn’t expect all of the Tejada kids to live . Dru going off to be Picasso. Diana wanna be Mary J Oblige so bad like girl go to school & move out of that house cause it’s full of demons , it need an exorcism 😭 . Cane on the run with Effie savings for school 🤦🏾‍♂️ , but idk how he even escaped that scene unless the floor opened up like the BET awards lmao . Effie really gave her school savings away and all she got was a kiss on the forehead . At least get some MEAT 🍆 , you acting vegetarian . I honestly thought she was gone go with him or something. You back at square one working under Tariq 🤦🏾‍♂️ I just don’t know Tariq got a happy ending for right now 😂 no enemies , Nico & the police on his side , clean slate , moving Tasha and them witness protection bobs out of witness protection , & working with Noma brother Ricky Dillard , but will be a “ghost” in everything . So I get what they did, but I think they missed out on a lot of potential things they could’ve done. I rolled my eyes when I seen Jenny “Quagmire” Sullivan & thick tongue casaBLANCA 😭 & obviously the spin off is coming & he going to Power Force with Tommy . That should be cool seeing Tariq Tommy & Diamond & last season Tommy & Diamond wasn’t super solid so we might see Tommy & Tariq vs Diamond & Jernard . No Monet funeral or anything is crazy. I know she going to hell but damn 😂 Lil Durk did his lil 4-5 scenes and got up out of there looking like Libby from Jimmy Neutron . But yea I’m in the middle about the finale . I swear I did not edit this clip. It's WILD once you understand what's going on. Joe: "[According to Mormons, Catholics believe] everyone who's ever created by God did not consent to be created so therefore God is morally responsible for the evils in the world. Whereas in Mormonism God is not responsible [because he didn't create us out of nothing] and he's just kind of powerless to-" Matt: "We've got to give their God a different name... like Jeff or something" Why it's wild: So Joe has just hit on the best part of Mormon theology. If God created us from nothing then HE is responsible for what happens to us. Joe mentions we didn't consent to be put in this world. What he leaves out is that in his theology God knew what would happen to us when he created us, there is nothing outside of his control. So the inescapable conclusion is God chooses if you go to hell. Sure you might have free agency, but God gave you all of your internal desires and external influences, he controls every factor. God decides to create people without their consent knowing that they will end up in hell. That's a massive problem. So how does Matt respond to this? He doesn't even recognize the problem and instead starts musing about the different name he should call the "Mormon god". If Matt had a Latter-day Saint on this conversation could have been way more interesting for both sides.
