Larson's team planned for this scenario. They checked with Nascar before the start if the 6 doesn't go do we have to stay in line and the answer was no. The 6 didn't start so they moved up. I guess the 12 should have done the same thing

The row moves up. This is basic racing rules from go-carts to nascar. Not sure how he doesn't know this.

The bullshit part that cost him the race was the fact that Larson gets to jump up a row, NASCAR needed to either add a lap of yellow and have them re-choose with Blaney as control car or penalize Larson for jumping up a row. I see now that Larson didn’t jump the start
