Ryan Clark asked what Jalen Hurts really meant by "100% alignment with zero entitlement", and Channing Crowder immediately said, "We know exactly who he was talking about." Ryan Clark: Jalen Hurts said this team is in "100% alignment with zero entitlement." A lot of people think that has something... to do with A.J. Brown. Fred, how do you see that quote? Fred Taylor: I think Jalen was referencing the book Chop Wood, Carry Water. The message is simple: every season is a fresh start. No entitlement. Everyone comes back to zero, and you build together as a team. As the quarterback, Jalen is trying to get everyone on the same page. Channing Crowder: You are so nice. We know who he was talking about, man. Ryan Clark: Who? Channing Crowder: A.J. Brown. He complained about his targets and the offense; that's who Jalen was talking about. This wasn't about starting from zero; it was about getting rid of a cancerous situation. Channing Crowder: A.J. can flat-out play. Top-five, maybe top-10 receiver. But you can't complain every day on a championship team. You're not getting 12 targets a game. They're going to run the offense. Channing Crowder: If the Eagles end up being even better without A.J. Brown, that's going to say a lot about what was really going on in Philly.show more
