Why would that information hurt the case, unless you were lying about specific call logs and times and didn't even have a case in the first place, but wait, it get's even better... Candace makes a CRUCIAL point and explains that Mikey McCoy allegedly called Erika Kirk just to tell her that Charlie got shot and hung up. What kind of phone call in reality would you call someone to tell them that their loved one was shot and most likely going to die and then just hang up? There would be tons of questions to be answered immediately after being told that. Also the video footage does show multiple phone calls being dialed. Lastly why won't they just prove that they're not lying and show the call logs to prove people wrong? Many things are not lining up with what they are saying and what is seen on video. If you don’t know the person—say you met on an app—just do a quick FaceTime call first. Five or ten minutes. It’s basically a vibe check. You get a sense of the chemistry, and you can see if they actually look like their pictures. I was in an Uber a couple weeks ago in Austin, and my driver—she was probably in her fifties, recently divorced—was telling me about going on dates. She said half the time the guy’s photos show him with hair, and then she meets him and he’s bald. And she was like, “I’m not trying to date a bald man. "The Gosling character is undoubtedly a Christ-figure" in Project Hail Mary. —Bishop Barron. Sorry. No. And this is important. (Spoilers, ...hence the spacing...) The exact opposite is true. Jesus willingly laid down his life to save us. That's the whole essence of His Sacrifice. "No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord." (John 10:18) Gosling’s character absolutely refused to go on the mission, and only wound up on the ship because he was forcibly restrained, injected with a tranquilizer, put in a coma, and strapped into the ship. He wasn’t willing to die, and as it turns out, he also didn’t die. He gets to enjoy life with the aliens on their planet at the end. At one point in the movie, Gosling’s character, Ryland Grace, says he “made peace” with being stuck on this seeming suicide-mission-ship called “Project Hail Mary.” But he takes it back moments later and says “I didn’t mean any of that.” I can see how many would find this movie entertaining. (Not my style; constant giddy/effeminate dialogue ain't my cup of tea.) But nothing about this movie was a Christ story. To take the bait (i.e., the movie’s title and main character’s name) and pretend it is a Christ story is not evangelization, it’s Gospel-cheapening. There is one and only one mention of God in the entire movie, when the main female character says she believes in God because it’s “better than the alternative.” And that woman ultimately winds up being the rather cruel character who is the one ordering Gosling to be held down, put into a coma, and forced into an apparent suicide mission. Even the film’s funeral scene aboard the ship, which even the most secular of movies will almost always invite God and prayer into, is completely Godless. Not even the slightest allusion to God, prayer, Scripture, or anything similar, takes place. It remains a purely atheistic “celebration of life” – true microcosm of the whole movie, wherein the only “saviors” are “evolution, science, and friendly alien/human/AI cooperation.” (Grace doesn't just befriend the alien—the only thing he seems willing to die for—he even befriends the AI robot, giving it a loving noogie at the end.) Also, the “conservatives” raving about this movie by calling it “anti-woke” are grasping at straws. Sure, it was less in-your-face woke than many modern movies. But it was woke, alright ⤵️ (There's also a recurring degenerate reference, played as humorous, that I won't list here). There might not be a lot of scenes like these ⤵️ in the film... but there's NO scenes opposed to them (nothing remotely "anti-woke" anywhere in it).

Today marks the beginning of what some call Pride Month. For Christians, we celebrate today like we do every day - that this is the day the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it. When we see the acronym LGBTQ, we don’t see sexual identities to celebrate, we see image-bearers of God who are doing what’s right in their own eyes and need the kind of love that points to Jesus and His truth. The truth is God made us male and female so that a man can leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. God IS love and He has the authority to define it. He calls homosexuality a sin, and holy marriage between a man and woman very good. The most loving thing we can do is agree with God. We can’t love others by affirming sin. This is my response to why we don’t celebrate Pride Month:
