it’s really refreshing to hear him call it like it is instead of trying to sugarcoat or deflect.

Seems to me the points to a systemic issue in the business in terms of QB development and the contract timeline plus economics

I offer this for your consideration... it points out that you have to have a plan in place when drafting a new QB and you stick to that plan. After four years is when the big money hits for 1st round picks. That's plenty of time to execute a defined, workable plan to develop a QB

I mean pretty much admitting that he wasn’t given a fair shot … should’ve traded him in year 2

This is the most honest GM Chicago ever had.

This only makes me more angry, to be honest. I get that he’s also shielding responsibility from Fields, but I believe it’s acccurate. The organization dropped the ball and could have added offensive talent sooner. This should have been priority #1 after the roster tear down

Just say "we wanted to reset the rookie contract clock"

Ive lost all respect for poles He's basically admitting he did not give JF a fair shot Next QB is gonna have a decent team to work with

Bc you failed getting him a HC/OC that is legit and reputable and tanked his second year of development
